They don't send prescriptions properly, they charge cards after being told to not do so, and it is extremely hard to get ahold of someone from this pharmacy. If you can switch, I highly recommend going elsewhere. Especially in this climate in 2025, no one should be messing with people's medical needs.

When my son first started receiving his diabetic sensors for his dexcom we were very pleased with the service here because we had recently been working with a company called Soalra and it was a nighmare! Worst place ever! But Gem would ship them to us every month without me ever having to call them. It was great! But recently I noticed we were on our last box of sensors so I called them in. They never came. When we were down to his last sensor I called them in again. Still nothing. I have went around and around with them for over a month now! First I was told they needed chart notes. I had the doctor send them. Then it was a new prescription. One was sent. When they requested chart notes I specifically asked them if they would also need a prior authorization and was told no. Now they're saying they need one. I had the doctor send one 2 weeks ago and even received a letter from his insurance provider saying that they approved the prior authorization. I called again just now asking what the status is and I'm told they're waiting for a prior authorization! I said well his insurance approved it. She says their authorization specialist will look into it and should have them mailed out Tomorrow. This is ridiculous! My sons blood sugar levels are unstable and if he drops at night how will I know? I am very disappointed with this company. And it takes forever to talk to someone when you call. Leave messages they never get returned. Please do better!

They are difficult (near impossible) to reach over the phone regardless of the day or time. I refilled a prescription that I needed pretty urgently, sat on the phone with the customer service rep as she supposedly wrote the message that it was a time-sensitive prescription, and then waited for a week for a package they never sent. After calling repeatedly for four days and leaving messages, I was finally able to get in touch with someone from the company only to find out that they refilled the prescription (so I couldn't get it from anywhere else) and left it there for a week without sending it. I have been doing multiple daily injections and have had crazy blood sugar for a week because they couldn't be bothered to send a package. I expect better from a pharmacy, and we all deserve better.

If you need to speak to anybody, be prepared to never hear a damn word. These guys are professional phone dodgers. After calling their office for days in order to get my new insulin pump, leaving several messages, I've yet to hear back from them. It's been two weeks now.

Got referred here by my vet. My advice would be to find a different pharmacy. This place does not have it together. I am constantly having to follow up on refill requests. Their auto response of 1-2 business days is a joke. They don’t reply at all! Then I wait for 4,5,6 days and have to call and try to get them to pick up the phone, which they normally don’t. I have to choose the provider line to get them to answer. Pharmacists are overwhelmed. This place needs better management or more help. I’ll be letting my vet know what type of service this place provides and will be taking my rx elsewhere. Go elsewhere!

My order was sent here by Medtronic on 7/29…after just over a month of 0 communication, I called the company and was told my order would be overnighted and they apologized for the delay. It’s now been 3 days since I called and my order will not be here until Monday 9/9…according to tracking, the label was not even created until the day after I called, which happens to be the day the customer service representative said I would have the order…If you’re looking for a dependable durable medical company with a sense of urgency, keep looking. The only reason I ordered from here was due to an agreement between Medtronic and GEM Edward’s, wish I stuck with my reliable go-to, EdgePark!

Poor customer service. Left message, for a return call, about a refill for a pet 2 days ago. No return call from them. I phoned them today and was informed the refill request came in Tues.. I was then informed that they “lost their compounding person” so prescription would not be refilled until next week. I stated that would be too late and my pet would have to go without medicine for a serious medical disease. I asked why I wasn’t notified due to the seriousness of going without medicine. They said that there wasn’t anything they could do. Then said to call my vet to see if they have some medicine in the office. I said of course they don’t. (Usually a compounded medication has a shelf life of 30 days - would not be sitting in an office.). They should have notified their clients. Was shocked at the incompetency. Called my vet and requested refill from another pharmacy and to never use this pharmacy for any medications for my pets. They immediately called Wedgewood Pharmacy and I will use them from now on.

Thier fast and do not charge for shipping. They work with you for the best way to give your pet medication. If there is an issue with your meds they will contact you in a timely manner.

After working with Edgepark for so many years, GEM Edwards has been amazing. They call me whenever they need clarification on something rather than letting things lapse. Delivery is quick and their team, especially Kelsey, is super helpful and friendly.

So I have been getting my meal time insulin from this company and they would call me and ask if they can send out another batch. I got tired of using my local pharmacy and I called them up and asked them a lot of questions and they where very helpful so I said lets get the ball rolling. Great company to use
