Hudson Farmer's Market is an extremely large market in Hudson, Ohio with lots of great local goods to choose from, including beautiful produce, breads, eggs, pickles, fruits, veggies, cookies, and flowers. It offers a wonderful atmosphere that is really comfortable, making you feel like you are in the country. The market is kid friendly and super animal friendly, with plenty of things for children to do, making it a fantastic spot for family fun. There are also cute restaurants and pubs in the square, along with other hot spots like coffee shops and a book store. One such spot, Farmer's Rail, offers quality products with a great selection of butchery and bakery items, plus premium sandwiches, salads, and soups in its dining area and bar, alongside beer on tap and very tasty premium cocktails. The staff are very friendly, knowledgeable, and superb. The meals, like the excellent burger or fantastic dry aged steaks, are high quality, though some note the market and meals can be a bit more expensive or way over priced compared to others, attributing this to the upscale, uppity town. Parking is not difficult, with street parking, free surface lot parking, and handicap parking available. The experience is often positive, with delicious food from stands and a wonderful atmosphere enhanced by music and sidewalk sales from local businesses.
Hudson's Farmers Market is fabulous. Great vibes! Sometimes live music. Perfect for kids and dogs (on leashes). Sometimes parking is annoying, but I usually find a spot in the parking garage at 1st and Main. **Remember to bring a reusable grocery bag if you are shopping!
