The pharmacist looked into it for us and found the mixup.... she could have just as easily gave us back our insurance card and told us to figure it out but she didn’t and we are very grateful. “It seems as if this Walmart location is starting to take steps to better organize their store, which is great considering how bad it was a year ago. Typically, I drive the 20 minutes into Norwalk to go to Walmart, as that store tends to be much cleaner, more organized, and feels safer to be in, but lately I have been going to the Sandusky location for a few items and the experience has become much more positive. I feel like I can finally go in there and find what I am looking for without the store being an epic mess.”

“I was really impressed with the service in the bakery today. It's 2 days until Thanksgiving, so of course they were super busy. I needed a Boston Cream Pie for my son's birthday. I asked for help because I couldn't find one, and Jen went in the back to look (twice), got one out of the freezer, and then wrote on it for me with icing, smiling the whole time. I could have cried, because I didn't want to disappoint my son, but Jen delivered! Many thanks Jen! Also, Cathy, the cashier, is another gem. “I am from Maryland and drove 8 hours to this town for a vacation at cedar point. During this time my purse had been stolen and in that purse was my insulin pump PDM. This required me to use syringes until I was able to get home. Every pharmacy turned me away because I didn't have a prescription (I lost my insurance when I turned 26 and was waiting for my benefits to kick in). At this point I began to get panicky because without the pump my sugars started creeping into the mid 300's and no one believed the fact that I needed the syringes for insulin. I finally went into this store and the pharmacist, I believe his name was Keith, was so kind and compassionate. I brought my vial of insulin in with me as my only proof and he was the only one that day that believed me. Can you imagine how that felt for me? That I have this illness where I could die without syringes and yet no one believed me. Keith decreased my anxiety and told me someone had to do something nice for me that day. I am so thankful for him or else I could have ended up in the emergency room with keto acidosis.”
