We stayed here while visiting the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Great location. Lots of restaurants nearby. Rooms were clean. Bed was a little soft for me. No fridge or microwave in rooms. Breakfast was well stocked. For the price, this was a great place to stay for a few days. Will definitely stay here again when I return to Cleveland.

The night clerk was mad we woke him up (from sleeping at his desk) and refused to let us check into a reservation made by my fiances father, even though her name was on it. Being we had been on the road 10 hours and it was past midnight we decided to pay for another room rather than argue with the man with temperament issues. Then around 7:30-8 am our room was entered by multiple hotel staff, who were more than surprised to find we were in bed. They then wake us up say that we checked out at 4AM. Again, we arrived past midnight. I know it might be difficult to find solid overnight staff on this side of Cleveland, I imagine yall don't pay enough as it is, but seriously this is unacceptable.

My parents have travelled to Cleveland clinic for a number of years and have always stayed at a hotel just down the street. I went with them recently and was disgusted by that other hotel and so I asked for a refund and searched for another one that offered the discount for patients of CC. This is how we came upon Comfort Inn. It was a breath of fresh air especially coming from the other. We have now stayed at Comfort Inn a number of times and have been completely satisfied. Naomi and Roman, two of the front desk workers, and Mark, who works in maintenance if I’m not mistaken have been awesome. They go out of their way to be accommodating. They’re so personable and always ask about my parents. They definitely go above and beyond. The location is also great. I love the Independence area and the hotel is close to everything but also tucked away and is quiet. While I have been satisfied with the accommodations, there are some things that could be updated or fixed but it’s always been clean. They serve a hot breakfast every morning. So, overall, of course there are things that can be improved or updated…...maybe a couple of employees that aren’t the friendliest but still completely satisfied with this Comfort Inn and will continue to stay there when in the area……Naomi, Roman, and Mark are the best!

My husband & I stayed at this hotel a few weeks ago because of needing a place to stay relatively close to the Cleveland Clinic. I called the 1-800 # & spoke to a polite gentleman who was able to find an accessible room for us that had a removable showerhead in the bathroom. He price matched the advertised price on the website, which was lower than comparable hotels in the area. When my husband & I arrived at the hotel & I mentioned that I would be having surgery at the Cleveland Clinic, the front desk attendant, Naomi, said that she could offer us a special rate & reduced our amount due per night considerably. We ended up needing to extend our stay by one day because of me being admitted to the hospital, which the hotel easily accommodated. Regarding the hotel amenities, we were pleased with the continental breakfast & the assortment of hot scrambled eggs, sausage & waffle maker, plus cereals, muffins, bagels, hot coffee, hot tea, & juice. Our room was satisfactory: the bed was comfortable with plenty of blankets, the shower worked well with plenty of hot water, & we felt safe & secure. One thing that needs improvement is the cleanliness of the carpeting in the room; it was so dirty that the bottom of our socks turned black just walking to & from the bathroom. To remedy this situation, the hotel staff could shampoo & clean the carpeting more regularly. Overall, we felt pleased with this hotel, the price & discount offered if needing accommodations to visit the Cleveland Clinic, & the proximity to local stores & the freeway.

First Class Motel Location. ALL STAFF members make you feel like you never left home.Rooms: If they say the room is a non-smoking room that's exactly what it is, a non-smoking room unlike some of the other hotels in the area. In addition we requested an accessiblity room with a walk in shower. The hotel was booked full the evening we arrived but some how they still gave us an opportunity to pick from two different rooms so that my wife who was visting the Cleveland Clinic would be as comfortable as possible during her stay. ?Noteworthy details: From the time we made reservations, Each and Every MEMBER of the staff listened to what our needs were and took time in my opinion to provide the highest quality of service. My wife and I felt like we were staying at the Ritz, which we could have never afforded. The room was perfect in every detail and the common areas were clean as well.

Got here late for an overnight stay. Pretty easy to get to. The parking was adequate and nothing unusual. The front desk was nice, and provided additional towels when requested. The room was actually pretty nice (no microwave or fridge, but we didn't need them). The bathroom was surprisingly very nice, with a large counter area and a clean, modern shower available. It has a small, outdoor pool to it. Staff was friendly throughout with no issues. I'd stay here again if I'm in the area. Paid $161 for our room here.Walkability: There are restaurants nearby that you can walk to if needed.

This is most definitely a 10+++ !! I and my husband we treated so kind and the staff was so helpful it you needed anything. They went above and beyond helping me to get a UBER that's for sure. The breakfast is pretty good. The lady that was surviving breakfast was not very nice, she's a older lady so I tried to look over her hatefulness. Other than that this is a very good place to go test and swim in the he pool just have a great time!! I think if you haven't stayed there you don't know what your missing you got to try it for sure!!

The room smelled like mildew when I woke up I noticed the ceiling had mold all around it and the carpeted floor felt damp and sticky . My partner and I checked in around 2:45AM and checked out around 10 AM we paid $153 (after taxes even more.) For a mediocre Hotel ( Not High end ) I feel they took advantage because it was Saturday night (Technically Sun Morn) and other places were sold out. A low grade/med grade Hotel such as a comfort inn should never be more than $115. I'm sure they know of the mold issue and the smell . The room we stayed in was room 114 I believe ,and was not worth $100 because of the mold and smell and is never Worth $153 Not on a weekend or even Holiday . If my partner wasn't so tired I would have kept looking. I hate the fact we paid so much and hated it even more after seeing the mold and stepping on a damp sticky carpet , YUCK!!

I'm a Cleveland clinic patient for the last 6 years, I've stayed at this comfort inn for each and every visit. We lived here for 3 months at one point. The staff is wonderful, like my 2nd family. Rooms are always clean and breakfast is a bonus. We're in Cleveland several times a year, I will never stay anywhere else. We appreciate you guys!

We had a great experience at this hotel. Every staff member we encountered were SUPER friendly and helpful. The room was very clean, well maintained, and spacious. The hotel was quiet (we were on the third floor) and the breakfast selection was good.Would definitely return!
