I was just released from Cleveland Clinic after receiving a liver transplant and needed needles for my insulin injections. I told Cleveland Clinic I didn't need them because I thought I had them. As it turned out, I didn't and needed to get prescription transferred. However, when doing so, I was in contact with the Pharmacist (can not remember her name, I'll refer to her as Cruella Di Vil) at the CVC at 6527 Brecksville Road, in Independence. She was, the rudest individual in the health field that I have ever encountered in my 62 years. The receptionist was very polite, but the Pharmacist brought the entire company down. I wouldn't deal with this pharmacy if they were the only place to fulfill a prescription in the country. I would go with out!

Let me start by saying I lost interest in CVS many years ago but with insurance changes, we are forced to use their pharmacy. I always have a pleasant experience getting prescriptions filled by Pharmacist Regina. She is very efficient, pleasant and courteous and willing to answer any questions however, the staff up front at the registers are another story. They always seem to be hiding in that room behind the registers. On a recent visit to pick up a prescription, I decided to get a few other items. As I approached the registers, nobody was there (as usual) so I proceeded to use the self checkout which started blinking after I scanned my first item. Now I had to wait for someone to come help which would have been fine had I not been completely ignored for a good 5 minutes even after hitting the call bell multiple times. After waiting a good amount of time, the lady finally came out of that room behind the registers with an absolute attitude and never said one word to me, she just walked over, touched something on the screen and turned to walk away, RUDE. This was exactly the reminder I needed to only get my prescriptions there and nothing else.

Updated: Not sure if they have new pharmacy staff. Service is a hit or miss now. Not as helpful as before. Somewhat rude.

I always struggle getting prescriptions refilled on time and when they finally do, they send it to a different pharmacy. The staff is rude and makes it seem like it's your fault that they messed up your prescription that you've had for 4 years already. Very long wait times during lunch... I've taken an hour waiting to pick up a prescription in line before. The staff lacks a sense of urgency... Not everyone can wait all day and come back another time until they fix a routine prescription refill. They apparently expect people to not have jobs... they didn't have my prescription yet again today and considering I'm going back to work and working the weekend, I don't think I'll get a chance to pick it up before I'm out. I'm not surprised that mail pharmacies are replacing in person ones. I'm not sure how they have so many accolades on their wall.

These CVS employees are SO attentive, courteous & ever so helpful. The competition has sent a troll to hand out bad reviews for the sake of bad reviews. So you have to get some exercise walking in. Oh, the drama QUEEN...

The pharmacist, Regina, is the most unpleasant person in here. It feels like we we're wasting her time when you're picking up your prescriptions.

I've run into a lot of problems here. Sometimes it's my fault, sometimes it their fault. Every time they haven't been courteous trying to resolve the situation.

Let me begin by saying that I'm usually a positive person and especially with my online reviews of products and services. This place, on the other hand, is highly likely to disappoint you for a multitude of reasons. They don't have a drive-through and, apart from the general inconvenience of having to get out of your car, it also forces people who are sick to go into the store and spread disease. Their pharmacy doesn't open until 9am so you can't grab your prescription before work unless you go in late. My wife keeps our HSA credit card (part of our insurance program) because she uses it more often than I do, and I just keep a photo of the card on my phone so I can read the numbers to the cashier at any establishment I go to for medical related services or products... except this one particular CVS who's employees claim it is against their policy to manually enter credit card numbers. To put this into perspective, Walgreens will not only allow this but they will store my card in their system so I don't even need to give them the numbers! Lastly, and most importantly, there have been three different pharmaceutical techs that have been curt, unpleasant, and even borderline rude to me. If it was just one employee I could look past it, but the third person to act in such a manor is an indication of a systemic problem that should be looked into by someone at corporate CVS. Thankfully not all of my CVS experiences are unpleasant, but I consistently hate coming to the one that's closest to my house and they aren't doing anything to change my perception.
