Ignore the other reviews - we spent a week here and found a good hotel and clean suite.Service was excellent. Staff always cleaning. Say hi to Carol at the bar ?Happy hour and buffet breakfast are excellent. Especially the omlettes cooked ro order at breakfast ?Plenty of parking spots. Free WiFi. Safes in room.We were impressed and had a great stay here for the US Indoor Champs

Currently booked here for 11/29-12/3/23. Been to the bar twice where the bar manager named Jackie works. She is the most miserable person. 11/30/23, she told us patrons she was hot and going to sit down…so we waited for her to return from her hot flash break. Tonight, power went out in hotel. Once restored, she was extremely nasty and rude. She shut down happy hour for who knows why. She is unapproachable. The rudest person I’ve ever encountered working in hospitality. One a positive note, the gentleman who makes the omelets in the am is super nice.Food & drinks: See review

The people were friendly. Had a mishap with some food we ordered which seemed a bit odd but the reason it's not a 5-star rating is because of the shower. After a long road trip, a hot shower is very relaxing. The shower head was fantastic! But the temperature of the water ON STRAIGHT UP HOT was barely above luke warm. It was such a disappointment and with the cold weather outside, hot water was a need. I hope it is remedied soon, but I do not really want to try again and find a too cool shower. That stay would have to be refunded so I could go someplace else. The juice at breakfast all seemed watered down--cranberry was like red water, the mixed fruit (orane, passion, guava) was extremely tasteless and guava juice is normally strong. The orange juice was like orange drink. Breakfast potatoes were tasteless and had the texture of plastic. We didn't bother with breakfast after the first day. Not at all what we expect from a Hilton facility. The one thing that was excellent was the staff. The stars go to them. They ARE 5-star material.

Do not expect a Hilton experience. Location, good.Room, fine.Service, terrible! The team at the front desk are not friendly and were not helpful. When asking questions my family was met with sass. I also witnessed when another customer was asking for help, they refused to help and "didn't know what to tell him".The hotel coffee was $3 per cup. The same coffee from breakfast was now $3 per cup, and the sign let you know they were no refills. There was no place to get water. Not even in the gym. There was a private event going on near the only water fountain, and there was no one at the bar to give a cup of water. They only gave complimentary water to diamond level members. The team cleaning up the breakfast area were inconsiderate. There was 10 minutes left in breakfast and I was drinking my coffee, and as I'm sitting there someone comes and grabs my items. Then, when breakfast was done, I was sitting at a table with my throw away coffee cup and reading a book. Suddenly someone comes over spraying a strong scented cleaner right next to me, and didn't wipe it up, just left it. I didn't think I was in the way, and the young lady didn't ask me to move or anything, but it felt as though she was doing things to get me uncomfortable, so I would move.Overall it was a 2 out of 10 experience, I would not recommend.

Hello to everyone that may read my review:I was so excited to book this hotel as I am from Evanston, IL and have experienced Embassy Suites in my hometown and they are always so kind and helpful. My family and I came to celebrate Thanksgiving with my in laws.I have pictures of the hotel stay on Yelp. I could not upload them as I was using my phone to write the review.Unfortunately this was not the case. The first night was great, Ms. C, was such a kind lady to me and my son. Mr.Jessie was such a kind soul and even gave me recommendations on where to go when we went to the Westside market. The Assistant manager tried his best to help us with what he could control. And Ms. Ivory made our day as her fellow coworker as well was nice and even gave my son hot chocolate.Nov 20 First night: we found damages to our room that were not our doing. A tile was coming out the wall, there was tape on the walls that seems like it was Reminence of a party, cleanliness was not up to par. Bathroom tub floor was dirty like someone went in there with their shoes on and left imprints. The paint on the ceiling bathroom is peeling and the things that are suppose to hang on the walls were in the floor of the shower. There is crayon on the walls and stains embedded everywhere on the floor to the sofa couch. The bedsheets kept falling off the mattress. I did speak to the assistant manager named Demetris (I hope spelled or pronounced his name right) he did try to have us switch rooms but the room they were going to give us had the same issues.Nov 21 Second night: it was okay as we just sucked it up and stayed as we had no where else to especially after the 300 dollar hold for incidentals. The bar lady was such a kind lady this night as she gave me plates that I could take upstairs to eat my takeout food in.Nov 22 Third night: coming back from visiting family, the hotel staff member was not kind, it felt as if I was lying to her as I asked for another key that works. housekeeping did not come at all even when I was told they would because they started late in the morning. The assistant manager told me they started at 9:30 am and they were running late so they should be there soon but never came. I had cleaned my hotel room myself almost every night so far. I am always bring stuff with me and thank god I brought my own cleaning stuff to wipe the tables in my room down. We ran out of toilet paper so I had to go get some as I was avoiding the staff as it felt like I was some crazy Asian lady and didn’t know what I was talking about. I just kept going to the front desk for things we need like towels and garbage bags. The same lady who was kind to me for giving me the plates now told me she can’t give me plates because she is not allowed too. Which was ever weird to me as the staff was helping me the previous nights before. The fridge is not properly working as it frozen all our food we had, we had to play with the levels until we got it right to keep our food we got during our trip.I found hair in my food at breakfast in the juice machine and when I ordered a salad. I just didn’t want to say when it happen as I was already being looked at like I was crazy.I also was told to ask everyday for my breakfast tickets because if I lose them the hotel would not give me any replacement tickets for the breakfast that suppose to be included in our stay.At this point we have thanksgiving day and night left and leaving Friday morning. I am scared to even talk to the staff as it is a hit or miss of how they will treat me.I truly am sadden as I love it in my hometown. Never would have thought I would experience this with this hotel. I felt like it was a race thing as people assume Asian people won’t say anything.

DONT STAY HERE !!! Horrible customer service, all reception stuff is very rude. They have no idea what they’re doing. I paid $25 fee for early check in and they gave me king size bed. I said i need 2 double beds i paid for , they said they don’t have it. Then we agreed to cancel $25 fee and i will wait for my room . So they check me in at 3:30pm to my original room and still charged me $25 fee for early check in. Lol this is ridiculous . When i asked why they charged me, they said sorry check in is at 4pm. Very rude and unprofessional. Besides that the hotel is very dirty. Stay away !!!

This hotel and the chain is terrible. The customer service sucks.I'm traveling with multiple people and we can't get joined rooms because they don't know how to plan for large groups. The Hilton app and rewards web pages are also junk and difficult to use.I also stayed here last year, the same time of year and my stay then was just as bad. It's obvious the company dosen't care about customers. The only reason we are at this hotel is because it is required by the organization we are traveling with. (Hockey Time)Noteworthy details: Non of the employees at this hotel care about making your stay enjoyable.

Stayed in room 804. Room smelled horrible. It had a very sour smell, almost unbearable. Carpet in den was dirty. The hotel was full and I wasn’t able to change rooms. Housekeeping came up, agreed the room smelled bad, sprayed deodorizer and left the bottle so I could spray every 2 hrs when the smell returned. Housekeeping didn’t come to the room to clean the next morning/evening or night. I was able to change rooms night 2 at 10pm due to no more deodorizer available and pertinent smell in room 804. The 2nd room had a slight smoke smell, but MUCH better than room 804.Rooms: Carpet needs to be cleaned or replaced. Housekeeping needs to clean rooms thoroughly.

Our whole hockey team had to stay there, a lot of us arrived early. When I went to check in I was told I would be charged a 25$ early check in fee. I informed other team members about the fee and, they said the fee was waived for them (interesting). I upgraded to a corner king suite. Room 813, had a funky smell, the room was dirty, carpets had stains, chairs stained, no shampoo in the shower, 2 towels and a fridge that the freezer inside is completed frosted over that you cant fit anything inside. Highly disappointed and will think twice before booking here again, and will tell our hockey organization to stay away as well.

The hotel lobby is beautiful and I enjoy that it’s an atrium style. The room is clean and spacious. I’m a big coffee person and like to have it in bed each morning, so know that if you are the same not every room have a keurig. The 2 things I noticed that need improving was the fitness center was limited, but not surprising, my real gripe is that it smelled and looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in some time. The other is the restaurant and bar is only open from 5-10PM. Customer service was great all around though and this day and age that is hard to find. The bed was comfortable and clean. Also, a smart tv upgrade would be a wonderful addition.

Stay here!! Stay here!! Stay here!! I can’t begin to tell you how awesome the woman behind the bar was but first, front desk service was great. Let’s get to the good part… the woman at happy hour made us feel part of a family. This woman deserves all the recognition! I went an hour out of my way to stay another night because SHE was there. Made all the worries of work go away hearing her singing and playing good music. I really hope management can take a second to recognize how wonderful their bar staff is and how well they build a warm atmosphere. Can’t say enough about this location. Stay here!! Stay here!! Stay here!! Go to happy hour and let them wick the wows away from work!

Beautiful first impression upon walking in. Check-in was a bit of a hassle as the highly promoted online check-in didn't work, a phone call to customer service regarding online check-in was a waste of time (and ended with a high pressure sales pitch for an out of town hotel presentation), and upon counter check-in we learned our room had not been assigned although we reserved our room over a month earlier, creating the delay. There was an unreasonable $75/day deposit held on top of room charge. Our conference event was held at this hotel and water was provided for conference -goers, however the restaurant was open during extremely limited hours and did not regularly have coffee or other beverages available - we were told "coffee is only available during breakfast". Breakfast was... ok... but lacked many common breakfast bar items like yogurt, most bread options, and fruit ran out early. This was a Christian (think mostly non-alcohol-drinkers) marriage related 3-day conference being hosted... It would have been highly considerate of the hotel to make coffee available, even if for purchase, and likely could have made a lot of money doing so. This lack was a common echo overheard among the 300+ attendees, especially on the longest day of the event when it was most apparently lacking. Our room was spacious, clean, and our bed was comfortable, in spite of being provided throw pillows as bed pillows (pictured).Social hours promoted by the hotel were crowded and staff were visibly overwhelmed - complaining about not getting tipped enough for the hustle they had to do to keep up. We overcompensated with our tip as we understand that frustration and felt bad for the staff as they worked hard to keep up with the larger demand. The one quiet bar visit we had after social hours was just fine. The bartender Jackie was personable, kind, professional, accommodating, and an overall lovely host. We were sad closing was at 10pm as Jackie was so lovely we would have gladly stayed longer.Checkout was easy and the bill was accurate. If we return for a similar event we will be sure to BYOB, and pillows.

Shower was freezing. Maintenance man no where to found. Eye peephole is cracked. Awful service. Stains on the floor. Food was sufficient. No towels. No sheets for pull out. BE PREPARED. I like the vibes and the elevator music!
