One of the worst pnc banks I have been to. Only one person ahead of Me and the two tellers working acted like they did not want to help me. After the person infront of me left the female teller closed her window refusing to help me. This was intentional because the personStanding behind me was helped. If I treated a customer like this i would be fired. Someone needs to retrain there employees

The Independence location of PNC seems to be under incredibly poor management. I had my PNC debit card stolen along with my I.D. I cancelled the card immediately and also immediately reported that my I.D. was stolen to PNC. Despite seeing the flags on the account, someone was able to go to the Independence location of PNC and they withdrew $2,000 from my account using my stolen ID and an alternate corporate AMEX credit card in my name. I disputed the transaction at the Macedonia location because that location seems to have a better process in place to reduce fraudulent activity. The same person came into that location with my ID and coporate AMEX and tried to cash a check stolen from another person that was written out to me. They confiscated the ID and card and notified me right away and alerted me to the fraudulent activity and the $2,000 withdraw, so I was able to dispute it at that location. I called the Independence branch that day to determine if my account number had been compromised or given out. The gentleman that I spoke with said that "he didn't know, but he didn't THINK that they would have been given my account number." I asked to speak to a manager, he said that there weren't any managers working there that day and that he would request a manager to call me. It's been over a week and I've yet to receive a call from this location. Add to that, I also still haven't recieved ANY update regarding the investigation into this fraudulent activity. It's been over 5 business days. I called and was told that it normally takes 3 business days and no one in customer service seems to have any information regarding the investigation, nor are they able to tell me when the $2,000 will be put back into my account. This is the worst customer experience I've ever had. I'm going to be closing my accounts at PNC and moving to a bank that provides more security measures and responsiveness. Unfortnately, I no longer feel my money is safe at PNC.

The manager Suzan Meyers was wonderful in helping me with an issue I had with a check. She got the hold released immediately. I won't have to call the 800# for PNC anymore because Suzan can do anything ! Thank you!!

I always go to the ATM Machine & don't have to go inside to do any transactions. I'm pretty sure their customer service is great and excellent. :-)

Went into the branch today to purchase a Cashier check gentleman at teller line very nice however told me there was a $5.00or $10.00 charge for check. Teller Supervisor said she didn’t have authority to waive fee so ask to speak to Branch ManagerThey try to deter me from speaking with BM stating it would be a hour wait which in reality was only 10 minutes too. Ask him about different types of accounts and when change happened I didn’t know that I get estatements and view account online. He agreed he did the same thing too! However, I was informed by Branch Manager that he didn’t have the authority to waive a cashiers check fee. I never visit the branch everything is direct deposited and I use debit card. I’ve never heard of a financial institution not assisting Customers or giving a courtesy Cashier Check and a reminder to customer in future there is a fee. Instead he said looking at your account I know you don’t qualify for a free check. I said how do you know ? Instead of using professional etiquette he came across as condescending! He came back with my money put in in money holder and asked if I needed anything else!? How about count customers money out to them? No withdrawal receipts? I can understand no balance told you only get a receipt with deposit. I did ask if there was a charge for the receipt. The manager was extremely confused I’ve never heard of not getting a receipt for withdrawals maybe not a balance. Has Banking changed so much that PNC doesn’t do what’s right for customers even as a courtesy? R. C. Is BM

VETERANS BEWARE!!!! Started my account with PNC almost a decade ago and opted to not be ALLOWED to overdraft at all. Had a transaction come out that overdrafted by $3.56 and they charged me $36. Also, they charge $15 a month if you don't have anything except a disability check being direct deposited!! Why do they charge you to hold less than $1k a month but 50k is free? ?? #theft

So I understand that PNC apparently has a rule that you must present an ID even if you are exchanging cash. I forgot my ID recently and just went to the ATM for a withdrawal. No biggie I thought...right? But I needed a certain number of specific bills for a contest we were having at work that day. I went in to ask for said specific bills at the counter. I had the cash fresh out of the machine but no ID. An extremely rude, trashy, tat-covered teller shot me one of the most suspicious looking glares I've seen since grade school in the early 80s. I get that your clock watching employees must follow bank rules, but the inability to make change off of bills that someone literally gets out of the same place 30 seconds prior, then scoffing at your customers for it was beyond off putting. I get that friendly customer service must be a pre-COVID thing, but I'm strongly considering banking elsewhere. Yes, little things like this matter. May she lose her position to automation.

Walked in to withdraw a large sum of money, and was made to feel very uncomfortable. So much so, that I never stepped foot back in there afterwards. What they put me through, never happened at any other location.

This is the worst PNC I've ever been too. The customer service is horrible and they are very slow. I would drive 20 extra minutes to go to another location.

The tellers do as best as they can but are woefully slow at times and the wait time to get to a teller is completely unacceptable. I get tired of hearing the " MANTRA " ..." Thank you for your patience ". No amount of patience can excuse the ongoing problems that are not addressed adequately over an extended period of time.
