Awful bank. No one answers the phones. We’ve had several issues with them cashing checks despite being a client. Some checks take up to 10 business days to deposit which is ridiculous. They let your account get overdrawn and then don’t waive fees despite having the account set up to NOT allow withdrawals unless there’s enough funds. Just a lot of issues that make no sense. In the process of switching banks.

Went to deposit some money I have been saving and get some back in bigger bills, 2400 dollars. After they counted the money they gave me my money and receipt for the deposit. I noticed the balance didn't seem right. I asked how much was there total and they said 1500 dollars, 900 dollars short! I said thats 100% incorrect. All said and done they found the money and corrected my deposit. Its hard to tell what could of happened with my 900 if I were to have just left. Make sure you watch them and double check everything. Get receipts for everything as well. Switching banks ASAP.

I was astounded when a friend tried to cash a company check from my Morgan Stanley account in California and both the manager and assistant manager told her that they "thought it was a scam" and refused to honor the check. But when she took it to Chase it was accepted with no questions. My account manager at Morgan Stanley just rolled her eyes when I told her what had happened to my friend. How much experience can these two have if they cannot even recognize a legitimate check from a huge financial institution? Or at least have the courtesy to call the bank in question and ease their "fears"? I have been thinking about moving back to Jackson but I now one bank I will stay away from. So sad, so very sad.
