“I can only tell you that I spent many weekends there when Bucky Dumford owned it. I would love to come and skate again but being on Social Security doesn't leave much money left for play time. And I only know how to skate on 4 wheels. They probably don't have that anymore. J. Pope.”
“We had a good stay at the Holiday Inn Express in Washington Courthouse. The only reason I marked down the service one point is the lady who checked us in was not particularly friendly and acted uninterested in us. They did have their full breakfast. They did not hide the fact before that that they did not have breakfast during their remodeling. We called and checked back to see if they would. They believed that they would have it in time for our stay and they did. This was posted on the IHG app.Our room was nice and remodeled and clean and pleasant. The hotel is in a quiet area of town, which is good for sleeping. The breakfast area was remodeled and was beautiful and the breakfast was well stocked. The only thing I would mention about the breakfast area is that the breakfast staff could wipe off the tables more often, so that we could sit at a clean table. Our room did not have a hair dryer in it. Also, the heater fan blew all night even though we turned it to off or to auto, it continually blew air, which made it noisy. We mentioned this to the front desk. Overall, we had a good stay and would come back and stay here again if we are in the area.”
