They have and maintain a beautiful fairgrounds here. The staff and volunteers are great. Based on my experience with playing here with Deutcher Musik Verein and Gemutlikeit Clevelander Musikantum they are awesome and accommodating to their bands during the festivals. I’m from Cleveland, so the only downside is that this is an hour away, but it’s worth the drive every time

I love this place. When you come here you are instantly greeted with a fun family friendly community like atmosphere, no matter which event you come to or your reason for coming. Everyone is super friendly which makes not overwhelming like you can feel when you go to some places. You'll always see the kids playing, running around together making new friends, and helping eachother. The food is always the best around that I've ever had anywhere else. Its even homemade, right there in a kitchen full of moms and omas! Ive never seen a line suddenly form when people hear the kitchen is almost out of something or closing. There's a reason people line up before they leave and before the kitchen closes with multiple orders to take home with them to eat later. I love that this place has so many different events through the year, so there is never a missed opportunity and always something to do. Their Facebook page is also good with adding events so you won't forget either and you can see pictures of past events or what you can look forward to.

Overall great experience at the October fest 2022. Great beer and German wine. Loved the dances and not to mention the costumes. I also purchased a German Ledarhosen made of leather. Food was too good especially the Full baked chicken and of course the potato salad ?. Will be coming back every year.

The food was great a little expensive $15.00 a plate this after paying $5.00 to get in. It was very crowded and if you needed a wheelchair or jazzy or anything like that there really wasn't any room for that. Other than eat there really wasn't anything else to do. You could sit and listen to the music and if you were close enough you could watch the dancers. You could dance but I went with 2 of my mother's cousins and I'm not a dancer and don't know how to do the polka. Not much fun watching others dance. I did get to see there Young dancers do some traditional dancers I guess they had just come back from a compilation. They the organization didn't have the band or anyone try to get people to come up and learn how to do any of the dances. But you could sit and drink lots of beer if you are a beer drinker of which I am not. I did like when the Youth dancers were dancing the band leader announced they were doing a window dance. He said the word for window in Germany was Fenst I was intrigued my brother Dennis's last name was Fenstamaker so that was pretty cool. The place where you got your food wasn't really close to a place to sit down so you had to carry your food there wasn't any offering to carry your plate if you had problems walking. I was using my cane that day. There was one tent selling German articles I bought some tee shirts and some socks. I did have a good time. Basically it was a sit and drink beer.

The Octoberfest here was great. Live music, dancers of different age groups, just dancing to the music, lots of food, and of course beer (& wine and such). It was a huge event!

Good music and beer. Great sausage. The schnitzel was a little overcooked. Best Oktoberfest in the area.
