This is the most incompetent staff I have ever encountered.The store constantly looks sloppy. There are often boxes in the middle of the aisles.The staff is hard to find in such a small store. No one can answer any question, including the managers. The entire staff is incapable of running the register.To top it all off, they pose as knowledgeable about cats when they are barely skilled enough to sell pet food.Their selection is overpriced and small.

I come here quite often, at least once weekly, or I used to. Since management has changed recently, there will be people in the shore needing assistance, yet employees will not acknowledge their existence or offer assistance. It's gotten so bad, I will drive out if my way to go to another pet store or just order what I need via DoorDash. I used to wait 5-15 mins, but as my time is just as valuable, my threshold for being at least acknowledged is a fraction of that. With the previous management, customers were acknowledged when they walked in. Not sure what has happened to customer service, however, a word to the wise: If you'd like to not lose sales and increase business, offer great customer service. It makes people want to give you their money when they need items.

After trying out several different grooming places, we finally found the best one! The convenience of being able to book an appointment quickly through the app saved us so much time. The staff at this place is fantastic! When we get Milo cut 7 times we get a complimentary grooming session. For any doodle owners out there, we cannot recommend Taylor H enough! She is simply amazing and has a way of making even the most anxious dogs like Milo feel comfortable. We will definitely be returning to this grooming salon!

my 8pound Morkie has been groomed his entire life.. he is 12 years old and very healthy. The previous place I was taking him to closed so I tried petco grooming. I told the groomer that he does get anxious with getting his nails cut but otherwise does well. they gave him a bath and did cut his nails however would not complete the grooming because he was "stressed out". If they don't do grooming when the dog is "stressed out" why would she cut his nails first knowing that makes him anxious. I am so disappointed and waste of time. I was still charged around $34 for just the bath. I will never take him here again. Now I will still have to take him in somewhere else because the grooming is necessary so he does not get too hot in the summer. I believe that will be more of a stress to him to start the process over somewhere else.

On January 21, 2021 I placed an order online for in store pickup, paid with a gift card and the overage put on my bank card. I went into my email and did not have an order confirmation. I looked and my bank and the money was withdrawn and checked my gift card and the money was wiped out also. I then called the customer service line and was on the phone for an hour and 29 minutes. They tried very hard to just get me off the line and kept telling me they would put in "a ticket" with the IT dept. I asked for a supervisor who then put me in touch with the "Premire IT dept" who then insisted that I would be refunded on both the gift card and my bank within 24-48 hours. Guess what...didn't happen. I then emailed the customer service and the "Premire IT dept". The Premire dept emailed me back and said they were still looking into the problem. Still nothing. I have emailed them numerous times with no response now. I emailed the customer relations dept (what a joke) with no response. I then received an email of a survey of my experience with the problem, I did the survey...No response. I am truly disappointed in this company all the way around. The worst. Have no fear I am not going away until there is resolution to this matter, I will go all the way to the top and the media now. Here I am February 4, 2022.

I really like this Petco. Staff was so helpful and nice. They were very accommodating and patient. They had a large assortment of items and I found the perfect sweaters for my boxer. I highly recommend this location for shopping or you can do curbside pickup from the app!

My family and I went to Petco today fully intending to purchase fish; however due to an encounter we had with a rude female employee today, we decided to take our business elsewhere. This employee didn't hide her annoyances with us as she continually rolled her eyes at everything we did. We are new fish tank owners and still learning. She asked us the size and type of tank we had and instead of educating us on what fish we could get, she had rude remarks and eye rolls at the fish we were selecting along with a know-it-all attitude of why we couldn't have the fish we wanted. I understand why we couldn't have the fish we wanted due to our tank but I think she could have had a different attitude towards us. Additionally, we had My 2 year old daughter with us and she ripped one of the perforated price tags off one of the shelves and my husband handed to the employee and apologized...To which she responded with yet another eye roll. I'm not excusing my 2 year olds actions and maybe we should have been holding her, but she was being very good just staring at all of the fish up until that point. I felt very judged as a mother. My husband pointed out her rudeness to us at that point and we told her we were just going to leave... and guess how she responded? Another eye roll and nothing to try to keep our business. We immediately went to Pet Supplies Plus afterwards where we were greeted with helpfulness and appreciation... and everyone there thought our 2 year old was cute! We purchased 4 fish there along with fish food and other supplies. Petco's loss.

Unfortunately I've had horrible experiences with scheduling my dog for grooming. Twice I have made an appointment a few months prior only for the day to come and when I show up they can't find my appointment in their system. Then, of course they're too busy to cut my dogs hair and I have to reschedule. Of course, both times I've wanted my dog to have his hair cut for a special occasion so I've been pressed for time. Now, I'm being forced to go somewhere else in order to get my dog's hair cut in time. I am officially done with their grooming. I will say the first time they made this mistake the manager did make it right by reimbursing my dog's haircut, however I can not keep going through this. Appointments are appointments for a reason. Overall the groomers are very nice, if they'll be able to keep your appointment as scheduled.

If you're looking for an ich-ridden fish, this is the place to go! Paid $40 for two clownfish which appeared fine in the store under their lighting. In the bag, one clownfish was incredibly pale and breathing rapidly, I put them in a treatment tank but the one eventually died. My anemone was also halfway dead in the bag. The workers there seem to not understand the sensitivity of these invertebrates as they reached into the tank and rip them off of their rock in one motion, instead of slowly working their foot off of the rock trying not to damage it. I understand this isn't a top-of-the-line saltwater fish dispensary, but I would have liked to have known they carried it before I put them into my reef tank. I came here because of how cheap everything was but please, don't end up in my situation. Either make sure to quarantine fish before you put them into a reef tank, or just go to a place that truly values the animals they are selling.

Our dog Jack is a eleven year old Westie and he loves his groomer Cady at our neighborhood Petco! She is always ready to accommodate us when scheduling and how we would like Jack cut. She provided us with a 7 point care checklist at the end of his grooming so we know what to look for and work on between grooming appointments. She is very professional and aims to please! Thanks Cady for doing such a consistently great job on Jack! He looks handsome!

Went to this Petco Sunday April 14th for their once monthly Vaccinations Clinic. We sat for 45 minutes and they never showed. We have a kitten who received its first round of shots last month and due its second round. Now it throws off our schedule. Not only that but we sent out our kittens fecal sample a month ago we purchased from them and have yet to get results.
