I’ve being going to u h in Kent Ohio for fifteen years. And the past five years this place has really changed the worst customer service experience I’ve ever seen. When I have an appointment it takes at least two hours past my appointment time to get seen and My doctor . He always running two or three hours behind. I have severe asthma and when I’ve had an attack it takes up to a week before I can get medication faxed to the pharmacy. If my records were not here for years I’d would go somewhere else I would not recommend this place to anyone if you’re sick don’t go there.

Poor medical care. They do not respect the patient's mentality or pain. I was taken by ambulance to the emergency room. I heard the paramedics and nurses mocking my condition, thinking that I was not proficient in the English language, but they were surprised when I told them that I could understand your conversation and talk to you. I was taken because I completely lost consciousness and completely lost my breath. I stayed for 15 hours and no specialist doctor came to explain my condition clearly to me. Even when I called the nurse to help me, she did not respond the first time, and the second time she did not come until an hour and a half later. When the pain got worse, they could only give me an IV sedative and a sedative and I was unconscious for half the time. In fact, if my insurance wasn't good, they would have thrown me on the sidewalk, but my insurance was good so they left me in the room without paying attention to me. The whole time I was hungry and my blood sugar was low, the nurse was there. She told me not to eat, and when I asked the doctor, he laughed and said eat!! They gather people only for the sake of counting money, not service, dedication and serving human souls, and their treatment is not kind at all. I'm sorry for myself. If there was a rating less than one star, they would have deserved it in all honesty

They charged me for a physical and an office visit for the same visit. Do not ask any questions during your physical or you will be over charged. Not going back

I’m out of network they promised my follow up visit would be in network and if not they would tell me. I broke my ankle struggle to get into the other Uh facility only to learn that now I can’t do my follow up unless I pay out of pocket. This is America. Urgent services? Better make sure your insurance is taken. Need follow up? They don’t care they will have you and your elderly dad drive 30 minutes away and then say oh yeah we don’t take your insurance.

Made a first time appt. and was a few mins late. Dr. said he couldn’t see me and next available appt was over 2 weeks later. Give me a break. If you’re that booked up, you shouldn’t be accepting new patients

Brimfield Family Medicine switched to UH. My current dr I've had for a few years since Dr. Thomas left. No issues until recently. Diagnosed w a blood clot in January, placed on xarelto 20mg daily. Within 2 weeks complained of fatigue and basically blown off. Nearly 6 months in - early june I could no longer physically function due to side effects of the medication. My tests were redone, blood clot is gone so I asked to be tapered down off the medication as is RECOMMENDED! Was told 'just quit taking it then' if it bothers you that much... w no tapering. Dr and staff were incredibly rude about it. Also, dr originally said she only recommended at least 6 months and if everything came back good I wouldnt need to continue taking it but now she is wanting to talk about placing me on something long term - what?! They now upload your record to the patient portal - where I have discovered just how much they will lie!!! Have me listed as a current every day smoker... um I told you I quit sept 2020. Have my insurance listed as medicaid... um no honey I pay for my insurance thru work and you have that info. All the side effects I complained about... they only noted the fatigue. NOT the dizziness, not the passing out, not the nausea, or the blurry vision or the tingling all over my body... literally I will be looking for a new dr as I'm sure once I have words this week 6/24 I'll be kicked out of the office... unfrickingbelievable.

This place is a DISASTER.. changed my moms doctor on short notice, advised her that an appointment would not be available until July.. REFUSED to fill a medication that she needs in order to regulate her medical condition. The negligence and complete disregard for their actual patients has resulted in my mother needing in patient care at a hospital.. called to advise of the situation and requested an appointment sooner than July.. their response “we aren’t scheduling anything now”. I will absolutely be escalating this to UH’s directors as well as the Ohio state board for investigation. I do not recommend this dumpster fire of a business to anyone.

Coldly accused of being a drug addict by the nurse before I was even able to explain my situation, told me they could get the police involved/had cameras, have heard others say the similar. Never used drugs. Unprofessional. The doctor herself was alright.

Hidden fees, beware! My copay for urgent care is $50. I paid that, they are trying to charge me and my insurance for a separate Dr. Visit fee in addition. Never told about this, a visit is a visit. You can't lump multiple "visit" charges into one visit! Crooks! BBB notified. Bait and switch tactics. Can't be legal what they are doing and stand behind. Even spoke with a so called supervisor. She refused to credit the additional co pay. Opened grievance with my insurance too. Not worth the headache, WAY overcharged for what they did. If you walk in with insurance, get ready to be milked for every dime, and then some! Crooks!
