I go into the store and start browsing for a couple of things I wanted to buy. I had my eye on two things in particular. As I was browsing, I quickly walked across the store from one side to the other and apparently cut through an area that I wasn’t supposed to walk through. Keep in mind it’s just me and one other person shopping in the store, and I literally passed through the supposed forbidden zone over the course of a fraction of a second. All of a sudden I am being yelled at by the person working there. “Sir! Sir! Don’t walk through there!” I had absolutely no idea what they were talking about. I didn’t even realize I had passed through the dreaded forbidden zone because I had my eyes on what I wanted to buy. Here’s a thought. If you have a spot in the MIDDLE of this small store that you don’t want people to pass through, make it hard if not impossible for people casually browsing to do so. There are simple solutions. If you’re not going to do that, at least tell your employees to refrain from going ballistic on customers for something that is absolutely no fault of their own. The mystery of why local businesses are failing is no longer a mystery to me. I tried to do my part. Forget it. Back to Amazon. Sure enough. Quickly found what I was looking for there and didn’t get yelled at by Alexa at any point during the simple process.

I was hoping for more winter gear in their stock, minus a star for that. But everything else was exactly as expected. Also, employee was super friendly and should get a raise for his fancy nails.

Nice, friendly & helpful sales member. He needed more help. He was stocking shelves & helping ring people out by himself. Nice selection, better price!

Spending $50 or more?? They don’t want your business if you use legal tender $100 bills to pay. Rather let a customer walk out spending $0.
