Customer Service at this Kent/Tallmadge Walmart is horrible. I was at the desk to return something last night. And I just stood there while all 4 of the employees behind the CS counter ignored me. And instead they just continued talking and laughing about something they were looking at. Finally one of the girls decided to look up (not at me because she and the others all knew I was there) and then she pointed to one of the other so called "customer service associates" and said "get her" - really? So, the lady walked over to her register, never saying one word to me or even looking at me. And she just started typing away on her cash register. She then reached her hand out to grab the receipt she saw me holding. No eye contact, no how can I help you, nothing! She just did her thing then started asking a co-worker if she was going back to the department where the un-used, original ticketed item needed to be placed back on the shelf. I stood there thinking OK, I used to get a refund receipt when I returned something? Are we just done? Should I just leave? And she acted like she finally noticed me still standing there and said "oh, here" and handed me my receipt. I walked away - deciding that I will never go there again. I made (6) attempts to reach the store manager by pushing the button for customer service this morning. But NOT ONE SINGLE person answered in (6) tries!!!!!

One of the best stores in the area! Are they are doing quite a bit of renovations recently, so stuff has been moved around like the pet food but besides that I don't see any issues! staff are very helpful here, and and if you were struggling to find a staff member around the Walmart app has the aisle numbers which Has been helpful. One of the managers actually showed me how it works, which was awesome! Are overall not a bad store and pretty good prices. Also, keep in mind it is next to a college town so most of the staff is college students! they've got a lot more to worry about than Walmart so don't be rude to them!

Made a stop at this Walmart Supercenter in Kent while visiting Ohio. Walmart is Walmart. Supercenter or not. It's still Walmart. Whether it is in Kent, Ohio or El Cajon or Santee, California or Spokane, Washington or anywhere in between matters not. It is still Walmart. Walmart has set the bar so low for themselves that they don't even seem to be trying anymore. That said, Walmart prices are just too damned low to not shop there. Damn you Walmart!

Wow. These reviews. I've been shopping at this Walmart location for almost 10 years, and it's fine. No idea where all the negative reviews are coming from. Store is generally well-stocked, and I haven't ever had an issue with staff. Pharmacy is way better than most I've dealt with - WAY better. Sounds like a bunch of whiny, entitled babies to me. Go pay 3X what you'll pay here, if you like. Less waiting for me. Tia!

This Walmart has the most terrible customer service I have ever seen. I am a Door Dash driver trying to collect products for one of my customers. The pick up instructions were unclear so I decided to go inside the store and asked. I was first disappointed when my friend walked in and tried politely asked three workers for 2 seconds of their time to ask where the parking spots were. Five of the workers completely ignored her and when one finally decided to say something they responded with "I don't f**king know." I then told my friend to leave because I was not going to let the workers disrespect her when she asked a simple question. I then called the store and asked where the pick up spots were? The lady on the phone was not helpful every time I asked she would keep asking me what spot are you in? AFTER I TOLD HER I CANT FIND THE SPOTS! Then one of the workers came to my car and told me I had to move. Me already 30 minutes late for my order, I desperately asking him where the spots were so I can get my order as soon as possible. He then tells me I have to go inside after the other coworkers told me I needed to park outside. With none of the workers being able to help me I had to cancel the order and caused me to loose money for Door Dash. I would not recommend going here to pick up a door dash the employees are very rude.

Thanks to the amazing employees that like to take your cart when you stop to go do something like go to the restroom. Took a few minutes to find the meat i was getting. Mijers is right across the street!

Overall a clean and well organized store. Much better than others near me. Employees are friendly and very helpful. The only downside is limited checkout registers open.

Everything about this store is the worst. Disorganized products. Dirty floors. With gross smells. Untrained and unhelpful staff. No shopping baskets. Blocked aisles. Employees standing around doing nothing. Parking lot is known to have theives lurking. I hate coming here and vow to never return.

Stay away from their service center. Dropped off ours sons car a little after noon to have tires put on. Was told it would be 3.5 hours. My son goes to see what the status is at 330pm. He's told it'll be another hour before it gets in. They hadn't even started on it yet. Apparently they bite off more than they can chew or they're slow as molasses. Needless to say they will not be getting any future business. I should've known better, this walmart in general is terrible. Guess the service dept just follows their lead.

On Saturday morning Oct 27th we had used the "alleged" Easy order groceries and they will let you know when it is ready to pick up. At 11.00 a.m. my wife received the call the order was ready. Not until 12.15 p.m. 75 minutes later were the groceries bought to the car. As usual a Program is rolled out and do not have the staff to adequately provide a good service. Extremely disappointing. When I called to express my grievance the young man was nice but i was on hold for 5 minutes waiting to talk to someone. DO NOT ROLL OUT PROGRAMS THAT MAKE A CUSTOMER WAIT 80 Minutes. It is broken. If you do online grocery ordering my guess is it will be faster at 8.00 p.m. on a Wednesday night, maybe then when you re called to get the groceries they will be ready. Upper management of Wal Mart. Fix this. Totally unacceptable for customer service on every level. There is not one thing that can be said to excuse this. I am in total Amazement.

Can I just say this Walmart is SO dirty so unorganized. A lot of workers stand around goofing around talking. I see a bunch of food and drinks opened up all the time all over the place. I see NOBODY ever walk around and get it or clean it up. Such trashy place. I walked by the breads and oh my gosh. I seen three bag of buns have mold on it it was green I walked to the next clerk I seen around and told them can you go back to the bread aisle and look to see more please this is so gross. Like I don't even work there why do I have to tell how and what to do at the store? Also some fat chub Jessica I believe her name she was just standing around I was trying to return an item and she said she couldn't. She cant do it. I looked at her like I gave you My receipt and I have My card that I paid with what you mean I can't return something I bought. So these employees need a little more training please !!!!!

Inappropriate conduct by employees at the checkout line. 08/05/18 21:29:36. Don't stand in front of a paying customer and discuss amongst yourselves your personal dislike for the item that he is buying from you.

The grocery online ordering and pick up has terrible customer service, lengthy wait times and often charges for missing items! I've done online order and pick up for a few years in Columbus with not one issue, in and out quickly. I moved to NE Ohio a few months ago and cannot believe the experience at this store. Each order is a hassle, generally waiting 15-35 minutes before they bring out your order. It is such a convenient service but I would recommend going to a different store!! They forgot to load a $40 oscillating fan. When I called, they said "Yes, we know. We are looking at the fan now." Yet it is an act of Congress to get corrected. The associate was not helpful, the supervisor didn't follow thru with correcting the order, the next few associates were not helpful and the 2nd supervisor - again didn't follow thru!
