She has held several pieces for me before until I could find a time to get to her shop which is so great. I like her size selection and her prices are very reasonable. “I love all sorts of antique stores, and I’d say Toasty Barker’s wonderful strength is their curation and styling within the store. It’s really easy to get a feel for what they have, and I feel like I can SEE everything. Prices are fair and clearly marked - it’s one of my fave spots when you need a gift but aren’t sure what to get.”

“I worked with Shuree to finish a bathroom remodel my husband and I had planned to do ourselves and then gridlocked over for four years. Shuree graciously worked with some materials we already had on-hand to finish the project, but also gave wonderful suggestions to round out the finishes and floor plan. She offered us exactly what we needed, which was to reassure us that the remodel was going to work out really well, and offering really beautiful options in response to my taste that I wouldn't have known about without her. We took the bathroom to the studs and her coordination of that rebuild was so worth it.Delays are a normal part of renovation, and we experienced some, but that in no way reflects on anyone poorly-I only mention it because realistic expectations go a long way towards satisfaction.All in all the team we worked with were consummate professionals who conducted their business accordingly, and I would strongly recommend them to anyone needing a hand with a remodel.”

“This was my first time stopping in when they were holding Holiday Open House. It was so much fun! There were sample drinks and snacks. The holiday decorations were gorgeous as usual. I just love this house to begin with but when it's Christmas time, it is so special. My favorite part is the fireplace in the dining room. They always have a great selection of items for sale. This time, I was able to snag a couple of items for Thanksgiving, an ornament for a gift and a Dayton magnet for my fridge. The women here are amazing. They are so friendly and helpful and just fun to hang out with! Add on to all this that its for the Dayton Children's Hospital--how can you go wrong?”

“Just speaking on the bookstore and not the rest of the stalls - I didn't find the specific book I was looking for but there is a really great selection here overall and the prices are fantastic. All hardbacks and everything is $3, so easy to tote up how much you find. (One small shelf has some under-$3 but there's nothing much popular there.) I ended up with another book that I'm very happy with and would come back here in a heartbeat! You can also drop off all your unwanted books in large bins outside (like huge post office boxes) if you're looking to get rid of any. The selection inside looked pretty curated so it looks like they only resell the best ones? The whole store and all book donations go towards the Dayton-area Project Read which helps get free books into the hands of schoolkids, so I expect they especially like book donations aimed at the 18 and under set.Anyway, as far as the shopping experience goes - it's easy to find everything, check out is very friendly, and there are lots of fun & unusual snacks by the checkout counter, if you want a snack while you read. I was particularly taken with the "RC Cola & Moon Pie" display since I'm from Chattanooga.”
“I was getting ready to move from Ohio to California to move in with my daughter and her family. I just retired. I wanted a new bed to be delivered to their home so it would be there when I got there. I have very bad arthritis all over and have had three major surgeries in the last 6 years. My daughter suggested I try a sleep number bed which she and my son-in-law have. I looked online and compared sleep number with other beds that were very highly rated but and less expensive and less expensive. However, there were no stores where I could go try the beds out. In my case there was a sleep number store 35 minutes away. It made a huge difference. I had made up my mind that I wasn't going to like the beds and they were going to be too hard and too expensive. The salesman and I had already been talking through text. When I got there he showed me the bed mattress that I thought that I would want which was very nice and very comfortable. They have a way of showing you, on a computer, where your pressure points are and when they are relieved by the bed. That bed was very good. It was the p5. Then he showed me the i8. My back pain was was relieved quite a bit by the p5, but when I tried the I 8, it completely disappeared. The bed is being set up in California and it will be there when I move the 1st of January. I can't wait to get it. I was very wrong about my feelings that the beds would be hard. I also bought two pillows on a buy one get one Black Friday sale. I can't imagine anyone not liking these mattresses and frames that can be moved in different positions. I am a skeptic and absolutely fell in love with the beds the moment I laid on them. They were way better than I could have ever anticipated.”

“This Antique store is very well organized, the staff is friendly, and has a good variety of quality products. If I were to have one complaint it’s that about a quarter of the store isn’t antiques but rather cheap modern home decor. Other than that they have many beautiful books, stunning prints, and some framed bugs!”
“From my initial purchasing of my couch to its delivery, I had a great experience. The salesperson who helped me in store was casual but knowledgeable, which helped me make a pressure-free decision. He was respectful of my criteria I spelled out when I said what I was looking for. Leading up to the delivery, I loved the level of detail and frequency of correspondence to confirm the delivery details. Once here, the delivery men were incredibly careful and efficient. I couldn't believe they had the whole couch in place, put together, and fully operational in under 10 minutes. I'm so impressed! I will absolutely make this my first stop next time I'm furniture shopping.”

“I called this store, because I learned from a Cincinnati location, that there is a warehouse in Dayton, where you can pick up your items when ready. Z at Beavercreek was amazingly helpful. We needed a specific mattress - the same day. She made sure it was in stock, helped me order electronically - and let me know when it would be ready. She made it work! We drove up from Cinci to Dayton - checked in at the warehouse with Ashley, and 10 minutes later we were headed back to Cinci! This was our first purchase with Ashley/Moore Furniture. This is what customer service should be! We didn't need it delivered, we needed it in our hands, and Z made it happen for us. Thanks Z! You made our day! Go to Ashley Beavercreek store, or call, ask for Z, and all will be well, at least with furniture! (also at the warehouse is a large outlet!”
“Joann Fabrics was humming with activity when I stopped in yesterday. I found everything I needed and the sale prices made it all affordable. The store was tidy and well stocked. I waited briefly at the cutting table, but the helpers were super efficient and friendly as was my cashier. It was a pleasant and productive experience... And they have some of the coolest shopping carts I've ever seen - lol!”
“Granted it is Forth of July weekend, I showed up at Joann fabrics at 6:50 pm made my selection swiftly, even thou was pushed thru. Went to the cashier to check out at 7;04 pm I was told my order could not be completed because I had a 100.00 bill and I had not spent 50.00 of it. My order came to 29.00. I expressed that I could quickly make up the difference. I was told no and the exit doors were opened for me. Sitting in the parking lot right now the last customer exited. I have been coming here weekly spending at least 50.00-100.00 every week. This was a new place I was excited about. Not s as my more. I also am disabled and explained that I was sorry when I came in I was late due to my disability. I was not however late finding and checking out. “My wife and I went into the store to explore the different features, and get information about the Sleep Number products. Dan was our sales rep, and he made the experience very nice! He patiently answered all of our questions about product reliability, warranty, ease of moving/set-up (we're a military family), and accessories. With his product knowledge, we purchased a bed, some pillows, and a few other products to complete the our purchase. We're very excited! The store was clean, the staff welcoming and knowledgeable, and there was no pressure to purchase and test the different products! Great place to go to find out if Sleep Number is a fit for you!”
