I went to the Kroger on Dorothy Lane this morning to do errands for my workplace. I used the self-checkout; there were only three registers that had the lights on (which usually signals that it is open). I went to the only open register where the light was on and not already in use. The women working the self-checkout cut in front of me to stock the candy above the register. She clearly saw me standing there. She was just taking her time and then looked at me and said âYou really want this register donât youâ I then proceeded to explain to her that it was the only other register with the light on and available. Very snarky she stated that they were all open and I replied how I would know that since the lights were not on. She then stated âthat the lights do not mean anythingâ. I explained to her that I do not work there and she did not bother to share that information with me until she was annoyed that I was waiting on that register. Kroger please train your employeeâs better. I do not know her name but she had long gray hair and glasses. There seems to be no more customer service at least not when she is working the self-checkout. Very rude for no reason.

For the past 2 Months, mainly Sundayâs Kroger Dorothy Lane canNOT fulfill curbside pickup at the scheduled time. Each one of my orders has been delayed 2 hours with the excuse of ânot enough employeesâ. I received a call one time for my complaint and that next Sunday, on-time with a thank you message from the delivery staff saying âwe got extra hoursâ. Today, not only did I get delayed 2 hours, I received a notification that my order was ready. Hit âon the wayâ and 15 minutes later, pulled up - checked in with my space number and a few minutes later I was told that my order wouldnât be ready until tomorrow! Clearly I am upset and when asked why, âwe just donât have enough peopleâ.
I have been a customer of Krogers for over 15 years. This has been by the worse experience I have ever had with Kroger. I have easily been accommodating and understanding over the last several weeks, even going as far as communicating with customer service over email wanting to remain loyal but, this was the last time!
Itâs simple, if you canât do the job - donât offer it to your customers!! Note: When I left, the 2 delivery team members were hanging outside doing nothing. No cars waiting. This is a shame!

Google tells you to take a sharp left onto woodman, which can't be done because the lane won't allow it. Then you're stuck, unless you see this before getting crowded into the wrong spot. I can't see his to get Google know this so I'm posting it here.

Out of shredded steak
Out of Italian hoagies
Out of sweet onion
People are the deli are rude.
Not coming here anymore it's really gone downhill in the past few years. At one point this was my only Kroger.

The store manager Skylar was very rude to me when I tried to return under $10 dried cranberries just because I did not have a receipt. The dried cranberries were unopened just because I have a sweet tooth and changed my mind about them. Her assistant also refused to help . I will never be back to that store and tell absolutely all my friends about my experience and discourage them to shop at that Kroger. Itâs not the first time when I have experienced such bad service from Skylar.

Having Spectrum in the store to solicit your customers is incredibly off-putting. Tempting to go to a different store despite the proximity of this one simply because of them every week.

If Kroger thinks it's a good idea for Spectrum to harass customers while they shop, they need to rethink that decision. Getting tired of telling them no on a weekly basis. Please remove these people from the stores or I'll shop elsewhere.

Iâm compelled to share my recent experience at Kroger, particularly regarding the self-checkout area. I was surprised to see the older man who frequently operates the self-checkout still working there. His attitude has consistently been extremely rude, and itâs clear he doesnât enjoy his job or interacting with customers.
During my visit this evening, I was checking out around 10:58 PM when he abruptly informed me, âyou know, I can refuse to let you checkout after 11.â While that was frustrating, it wasnât the main issue. I witnessed an elderly lady rush in with her dog food just after 11:01 PM. Despite her efforts, he flatly refused to let her check out her one bag of dog food.
Itâs disheartening to see someone in a customer-facing role exhibit such hostility. If he dislikes working there so much, why remain in a position that requires dealing with the public? Kroger, shame on you for allowing this to continue. Iâve never encountered a store that would deny a customer checkout simply for being a minute late, especially when there were still several customers shopping.
Whatâs even more disappointing is that he was aware of other customers still in the store but chose to wait for them to approach the checkout instead of informing them of the situation proactively.
I hope Kroger takes these concerns seriously and considers how important customer service is to the shopping experience.

The Attorney General needs to honestly investigate these businesses over this digital coupon bs. I have three business degrees and they act like I'm the problem when I know how to use their system and the system isnt discounting items properly. They are blatantly and deliberately scamming people with this system.
