I used to speak about this company with the highest regards. Used to speak about how amazing the company was for families and minorities. Definitely changed my opinion. I worked with the company for just short of 3 years. Never had been in trouble for the whole time. Not for performance, metrics, and def not conduct. I have a 1.5 year old son. My Mother and law sits with him at my house, as what our normal schedule was all through infancy to toddlerhood due to breastfeeding up until recently. Our schedule is still to have her come hang out. I used to not be on the phones at all. So it wasn’t an audio issue. They just now told me it was an issue, and instead of warning me, they fired me. Apparently you can’t be a parent and have your children in the house with you when you work from home. I can’t afford daycare. I’m pretty sure there’s something they weren’t telling me. Anyway, don’t be a parent and work here and think you can have kids in the house with you, even if you have someone to take care of them.Edit to add:: when you speak to someone on the hr team, you are met with aggression. And with a request for the handbook to show where you violated terms, they refuse to send you the handbook.

Not only did you make a foolish decision on my account, which lead to my decision of permanent closure of it... your customer service line is garbage. Hope you lose many more customers...

Very much the stereotype of a shiesty car salesman. Main goal is to prey on desperate people.

I applied for a Amazon credit card, which was issued through synchrony bank. I did not receive a statement in the mail for a purchase I made on Amazon‘s website for $42 so I then received an email stating that my account was late and they charged me $29 late fee. I subsequently paid my bill and got the $29 fee reversed and I had closed my account, which I thought I had a zero balance but I guess there was like three dollars left back on there and now they charged me 40 more dollars for late fees and they will not give me the total amount credit. There is a three dollars left on my account and I guess this is going to go to collections. Consumer beware when you’re signing up for synchrony bank they don’t want you to have a statement come to your house so that they can charge you late fees.

Have had a PayPal account for 22 years and have had a $2200 Synchrony Credit Line through them for over two years. Never missed a payment and it was even auto-drafted but Synchrony decided to abruptly close it with no warning. Going forward, I will not use or support PayPal or Synchrony after this unwarranted action!

They’ll suck you dry in interest alone, their websites will always “update” or freeze when I tried making a payment since their autopayNEVER worked…

I'm not going to go into great detail but do not bank with Synchrony for anything. Avoid care credit at all costs. Worst bank to bank with poor customer service. I will never have another Synchrony card ever.

Synchrony Bank is the worst financial institution in the history of consumer credit. Closing consumers cards without warning it not constitutional. You lower the credit till it’s not usable where it was opened then close the card without warning. The VP/ CEO/ COO and who ever else may be financial crooks and should be banned from consumer credit distribution. With thousands of bad reviews you sit back and do nothing. I will never open another synchrony account.

Let me tell you this. They do not care one iota about your situation. And they will balloon interest a $2000 payment and you will get screwed with an $1100 interest payment if you even put another thing on that credit card. Do not use, do not use! Go above and beyond to avoid this credit card, this company, and everything associated with it.

I have a Lowe's card through Synchrony. We made a purchase of just under $10k for a fence install through Lowe's. The deal was supposed to be a 120 month payment plan of 9.99% interest a month, which would equal out to be about $94/month. Lowe's completely botched the installation process and we ended up not getting our fence until about 4 months after the project was supposed to be finished.During this time we contacted Synchrony and explained that the fence hadn't been installed and we weren't going to make payments on a purchase that we didn't even have. Synchrony was supposed to dispute the payment, and we were supposed to have no charges or interest until the fence was done. The fence gets done and Synchrony asks for our first payment, which is now $800 despite our previous agreement. After what seems like a dozen calls to Synchrony, the payment wouldn't get changed. We bit the bullet and paid the $800. The first payment after the $800 charge came due, and Synchrony was now asking for $300 a month. The first call to Synchrony said that the payment was so high because the interest was now 28%! We were making a minimum payment of 1% of the principal and and 28% interest on the entire purchase. What didn't make sense to me was that after the $800 fee we had paid over $300 off the principal on the loan. So, how was the payment now $300 when the loan's balance was now lower than the original financed amount? What changed?I called Synchrony to find out what happened. Turns out, when they disputed the original charge, they removed the ENTIRE purchase from the credit card. This removed the financing option that we had agreed to upon signing the loan. Then, after removing that purchase they put it back on the card as a regular purchase, cancelling out that financing option and assigning us a 28% APR.I called Synchrony again, and they said that this is fixed and the original financing is now back on the loan. It should take effect within 2-3 billing cycles. So for now the payment is $300 and I just pray that it will go back to normal.Due to the project installation failures, I'm never setting foot in a Lowe's store again. Due to the financial headache, Synchrony is never getting another dollar from me after this card is paid off.

If you make multiple purchases from levin over a few years and you defer the interest make sure you check you statement. They spread your monthly payment among each purchase and they don’t tell you this. So you may think you are going to owe no interest on your 1st purchase but in reality you may end up paying thousands in deferred interest. Be vary wary of this practice

Terrible bank with terrible service. Have had two lines of credit with them, one for a lovesac and one for a mattress. They messed up payments on both and tried to charge me late fees when their autopay is broken. Then reported me to collections. I’ve had a 750+ credit score for 3 years and now it’s 590 right as I go to buy a home because I received my first ever late payments through these jack***es. Disputing with all credit bureaus and the BBB.Never finance with synchrony bank.

Synchrony Bank says trash . I needed a new dryer because mine burned up so I took the credit options at ABC Warehouse. That was a synchrony Bank business and I did not know. I was told I was approved for my credit there and I took it but I did not check my APR. Synchrony charge me 30% APR I have a average credit score up 750 and a six-year 100% on-time payment history. They will rob you blind and are crooks. Horrible customer service and a horrible business to work with. Run from this business and do not take their offers.

This is the worst company. Customer support is non-existent. Their website is a total mess. It literally must be managed by the Keystone Cops. My particular issue related to trying to sign up my accounts on their website. Unfortuanatley our HVAC went out and we finanaced the purchase of this unit through Synchrony. We won't make this mistake again. 4 hours on the phone with some of the worst customer server and technical support "professionals". I thought I should add, the customer service "Manager", who assured me she wouldn't be in her position if she didn't know what she was doing, even asked me for my username and password! Pro Tip: If anyone asks you for your username and password, disconnect the call immediately.
