Penitentiary Glen Reservation is an amazing place to hang out with people of all ages. It features forest, fields, wetlands, and 8.5 miles of hiking trails with a diversity of trails depending on the type of hike. The Nature Play area is amazing and good for kids of all ages, with a play area perfect for a toddler. Visitors enjoy the beautiful park with lots of things to do, including train rides and birding. The nature center is amazing in all seasons, with friendly staff. It is a great place to visit and take a walk, with a lot of stuff for kids. The center is open 9 am to 5 pm every day.
Absolutely beautiful park. Wouldn't be upset if I had to spend my sentence here.
