Tay rescued my hair from a cut I hated from a local barber. She was friendly and kind and I enjoyed chatting with her about work and life though there was never any pressure to do so. An ideal experience I wasn't expecting at a chain like Sport Clips. I'll be going back as long as Tay is there.

Idk why people are trying to cut hair for a living when they can’t cut hair. If you cannot follow basic instructions and put a “thin” line as the hard part, don’t. Allow someone who knows what they’re doing to take over. This looks atrocious. Fire this person immediately or never let them touch any other child only to cause them embarrassment and destroy their confidence. I’m livid. Y’all should be ashamed of yourselves!!!

I go in to get my hair cut from time to time, I like short styles and pixies. I asked a woman if they can do a pixie over the phone and she just laughed at me, and told me to go somewhere else. Very rude.

Y'all getting mad and have huge expectations with people who work at these kind of places like Sport Clips but it seems like you don't know that none of these girls are real barbers, they are just stylists. If you truly want a nice fade, a crispy line, a good men's Cut go to a legit barbershop. Avoid these businesses!!!!.

I walked in with a good amount of hair and left with little hair, patched of 4 inch hair mixed with buzzed patches, and a giant spot on my crown where I can see through to my scalp.I showed a picture and said I wanted only a little bit off and it to be cleaned up. The barber took the clippers one handed and started buzzing off chunks right in the center of my hair. Without combing anything, without separating my hair, and without wetting my hair. I hate confrontation but had to stop him. The manager tried to blend the top but ended up making it so much shorter and creating the thin patch on top in the process. She then gave it back to the original barber and let him finish shaping even tho I asked her to finish it. When he shaped it, he cut the back of my neck with the razor. It is now red and was bleeding. I am embarrassed to go anywhere now.

Don’t know what’s going on with this place as it used to be a go to however the last 4 times there, saying the exact same thing has led to 4 drastically different cuts. The words low fade this time got translated into buzz cut.

Been coming here for years to get my sons and my haircut. Unfortunately I won’t be coming back here. Just sat in here for well over an hour way before close only to have to short tatted up little ghetto goblin lady tell me oh were closed now so if you want your sons haircut you’re gonna have to come back. Quality of the people that have worked here has drastically declined.

Awesome service! I feel bad because I didn't catch my stylist's name. But I was there on Sunday (07/09/23) around 2:30ish, and there were a few people infront of me, but she was the only one there the entire day, so I'm not concerned about the wait time. I always get a high and tight cut with mixed results, but it came out absolutely perfect! Thank you so much for the wonderful service and hospitality!

Went in asking for a medium skin fade and just a trim on top. She started but buzzing at the top of the back and sides and thought, “that can’t be right.” Too late to fix anything now. She ended up giving me a high and tight haircut with the sides and back bald. I’ve never been more embarrassed by a haircut. I immediately had to cover it with a hat. I will not be returning.

April 2023 by Zachary F.
Hello, My name is Zachary Fortunato and I am filling a formal complaint against the Sport Clips located at 5878 Som Center Rd, Willoughby, OH 44094. On Thursday, April 13th, I checked in online and again once inside of the store at approximately 4pm. I waited a few minutes and was welcomed back to the stylist's chair where I met with Jenny for the first time. There was only one other stylist working at the time. She printed out my haircut instructions that are populated in your system. Jenny, proceeded to cut my hair and we engaged in friendly conversation. Towards the end of my haircut, as almost all of my haircuts finish she began to use the foil shavers to clean the back and sides of my head along with my neck. As she was doing so I noticed more of a stinging and a painful sensation on the back of my neck, much more then I would normally feel. Jenny did not express any concern or issue with the process at hand. She then proceeded to add a lotion or ointment to the back of my neck and explained to me that I had a "slight" reaction. I was experiencing a significant amount of pain and Jenny purposely did not use a mirror to show me the back of my head or neck prior to my haircut experience ending, likely knowing I would have a negative reaction and that she had scratched and cut my head so severely that she drew blood in multiple areas on the back of my neck. See pictures attached. She then led me to the front of the store where I graciously paid for her services and left a $7 dollar tip. She chose to not explain to me at all what she had just done to the back of my head and neck and let me walk out of the store completely oblivious but in significant discomfort. Once I arrived back at my home, I was greeted by my wife who was shocked to see the damage left on my neck from the awful haircut experience I had received at the above mentioned Sport Clips location. I have shared multiple photos displaying the damage done to my head and neck. Jenny had every opportunity to stop and explain to me what had occurred while I was still in the store. She chose not to do so and allowed me to walk out of the storefront, bleeding and terribly scratched. I feel great disappointment and I am embarrassed to have been treated so poorly when your stores describe an "MVP" experience.

This place accepts reservations through their app. You can sign in and have your place held in line. They give a slightly better-than-average haircut.
