I'm from Uniontown and just happened to be working up that way. I saw you guys on New Day Cleveland on Channel 3. So I had to stop by. I ordered 2 bologna sliders, 2 Pork Belly sliders and the Meatballs. OMG!!! It was all so good. I'm very happy with my food. Totally awesome.

The Breaded Chicken Focaccia Sandwich is a must try. Philly Cheesesteak was well packed and juicy. Homemade Mimi's meatballs with whipped ricotta cheese with balsamic glaze and basil. Generous portions and plan to visit again to try other menu items.

Food is all homemade, fabulous, and huge portions are served! Owners and staff are very accommodating and wonderful people. I usually get lunch and dinner take out.

Simply great food. Their pizza is excellent. Their Godfather Italian sub is amazing. And their calzones are the best I have ever had. They are huge and stuffed with goodness of your choice. The owners Frank and Mimi are super nice and deserve to be successful. Keep up the good work! God Bless. -

Ordered a medium pepperoni and sausage pizza, it was okay at best. The sausage was excellent, which brought the rest of the pie to just okay. Also, do not order the provolone sticks, I actually spit mine out it was that nasty. There are great places in Mentor or Chesterland, take the drive. Also, if you read the comments and see the way this place responds to less than 5 star ratings... Not sure how they can still be in business. I'm shocked at the nastiness of the business owners. I'm all for family-owned, but take the criticism and learn from it... Geez.

Ahoy, neighborhood adventurers! Me stop at Down the Block was like discovering a local gem hidden in plain sight! The café had a cozy, welcoming feel, like a friendly tavern in a bustling port town. The menu, though modest, was packed with flavors as surprising and delightful as a hidden treasure. The coffee, rich and aromatic, was like a siren's call to the senses. The pastries, fresh and delectable, were as tempting as a chest of Spanish gold. The staff, cheerful and hospitable, made us feel right at home, as if part of their crew. For its charming ambiance and delightful fare, Down the Block earns a hearty five parrots out of five from this neighborhood-loving pirate!

The spinach Florentino calzone may be the tastiest thing I've ever eaten!

Ordered carry out on a whim. Was not disappointed. The pizza burger was tremendous! My wife got a buffalo chicken wrap. We could not even finish all the food provided to us. We ordered carry out and waited. Quick and "GREAT" service. Even brought it out to my vehicle on a frigid night. I would highly recommend going here. I loved it so much, I am ordered all my fellow work employees lunch.

Really delicious Sicilian pizza. Had also eggplant sandwich. Seasoning was great. Was surprised to find Italian food of this caliber in Kirtland. Nothing against Kirtland, just strange to find a high caliber italian food away from a bigger city. Excellent.

Good food with friendly service. The food portions were generous. Prices were reasonable if not great. It's more of a carry out place with only a couple of tables.

We were in Kirkland and were looking for a place for lunch so we stopped in. The food was absolutely amazing. We both had the bologna slider and shared the meatball side with whipped ricotta. They gave us a small sample of the Italian wedding soup to try. The bologna slider was one of the tastiest things I’ve ever eaten. Who would think??? We live an hour away but will make the drive to eat here again.

Don’t ever eat here. You will find yourself falling head over heels in love with their delicious accoutrements, daydream of having them cater at your wedding even though there’s no fiancé in sight, spend all your money and find yourself living in a van down by the river. Even my dog goes crazy when she smells this food. You have been warned, friends! ?

Probably been here 100 times over the last few years and it's been excellent every single time.
