Took my 2013 Mazda 3 here, 82,000 miles at time of service, got new tires, an oil change, and headlight replacement. The only thing they did right was the headlights. My back left tire was not sealed properly and kept losing air, was left in a snow storm to change to a spare because it kept losing the air I put in. A few weeks later, my car sprung an oil leak and there was a rainbow puddle in my driveway, took the car to River Conrad's for them to fix and as it turns out, this Conrad's put the wrong oil filter into my car, thus causing the leak. I'm very fortunate my car didn't take damage as it had less than a quart of oil in it!! Please train your technicians properly and if they're new, check their work!!

I scheduled an oil change and tire rotation twice here; however, I was told both times they were “over scheduled” and turned away. The first time they cancelled my appointment without any notice and were incredibly rude to me. The second time they told me they were so overbooked that it would take the whole weekend for them to get to it.This place used to have good service, but now they do not appear to care about their customers or honor their appointments.

Great experience! I called at the beginning of the week on Monday to get a wheel alignment for my truck. They got me in for an appointment on Thursday that same week. The appointment was quick and easy; dropped my truck off in the morning and picked it up at the end of the day. Only cost me about $110 and that was that! 10/10, will be coming back in the future.

I was leary to take my car here, just from hearing of others' past experiences and should have listened to my intuition. We used to live in this town, for many years and we're back for a while, due to my elderly mother's ill health. I specifically stopped to make an appointment to have my tires rotated, due to a thumping, we were getting in the right front on our long drive in (2,400 miles). I explained to them, I would not have time to wait or leave the car, and they said to make the appointment first thing, which I did, for 8 a.m. (first appointment). I got there at 5 minutes to 8 and said I'd like to talk to them about how they would rotate the tires. April, at the register, who is very nice, said she'd have the service Mgr come out and talk to me. The assistant mgr came out a short time later and said it would be at least 3 hrs until they got it in. I said that's why I physically came in to make the appointment and explained that I wouldn't be able to leave the car. I told him that this was a total waste of my time. He said they only had one tech and normally have 3. I said you could have called to let me know so that I wouldn't have wasted my time. Of course, that would have been expecting too much to ask them to cancel the appointment I physically went in to make and had explained why I wouldn't be able to wait. So when I was walking out the asst. mgr says, "Have a blessed day," which was just being condescending because he knew I was upset. Definitely would not recommend this place for any work, especially when they can't even keep a simple appointment to rotate 4 tires.

So accommodating! Walked in without an appointment on a busy Saturday before Christmas. I was told that they could fix my tire that had a nail in it. April was so kind, courteous, and helpful. She made a distressing situation so much easier. Thank you Conrads!

I made an appointment online for tire replacement. When I went in, they didn’t have the tires so they ordered them and told me to come back a diff day. I was told to drop my car off early/when they open, which I did. They then told me they would call me when my car was ready (near end of day). Well they never called me and when I called to check they were closed. So I had to wait until the next day

Covid. COVID covid. That’s their excuse for lousy service. C’mon man. Covid was 3yrs ago. How long are going to milk that. This used to be a great shop. Now poor Ron B seems to be the only guy working here. While other techs are too busy on their phones. Or standing around. I’ve been coming here since 2014. Sad to say this my last visit. At least when I had to take the car to the dealer for a recall. They preformed maintenance too, and I was out in a hour, hour and a half at most. I brought my car to Conrad’s at 8am. I had an appointment, because their closer then the dealer. Took them half a day to change the oil. Correction, they did not change my oil, when they brought the car back at 10:30 when I asked what was taking so long. Jake B apologized and said he screwed up and took other cars ahead of me. Then, their Video inspection stated the oil plug had rounded edges so they couldn’t guarantee they could get it out. Or torque it back in so they wouldn’t guarantee the work. Never in video or in speaking to Jake B did he give me the option of replacing the drain plug with a new one. When I brought up replacing the drain plug. Jake stated that at 10:30 in the morning, with my car on the rack, he could not have the oil changed and a new plug by 12:30. Two hours away. Jake then stated at this point, I had disrespected him and he was not going to service my car?.So I apologized for hurting Jake’s feelings, but to no avail, he said tell the Subaru dealer “HI” from Conrad’s when I take the car there for service. So, in a last ditch effort. At 11:30 AM. I drove to the Conrad’s on Lorain ave in west park. Asked the service manager if he could get my drain plug out. Replace my oil. And install a new plug. His response was no problem. We keep drain plugs here just for this situation. Obviously drain plugs if they’re not pristine are too much for Conrad’s at Lakewood to handle. Plus if you “disrespect them” and hurt their feelings.?.They’ll send you to the dealer. ? so my advice is try the Conrads on Lorain. Stay clear of Lakewood.

I have a Saab sedan with 210,000 miles and a coolant leak. I was recommended to Conrad’s by AAA and by word-of-mouth. I will not be returning.I was told (by Conrad’s) it was a crack in the water pump that according to the man I spoke with on the phone (who said to me “I’m gonna be as honest as I can here”) would take 15 hours of labor and, between parts and labor, $3,800 to fix. I’ve gotten the same job done several years ago in North Carolina for a little over $1k; the Internet said 5-hour job and my same NC mechanic who we called after said the job reasonably is 8-hour job max and $1.5k (parts and labor). Took it to another mechanic and received a thermostat diagnostic, which is way less invasive to fix, and including the diagnostic fee, $450 total. I paid $150 diagnostic fee to Conrad’s only to be told a cost of repair that was more than double the maximum price such a diagnostic would have required, and to be told by another mechanic that the actual problem would be 70% less expensive to fix than what Conrad’s had quoted me. I had to pay to get my car towed to the other place. I will not be returning to Conrad’s again.

Scheduled appointment for 8 am and dropped off car and was going to wait for car until they informed me that there tech quit and I could pick up car at end of day…so I am now having to Uber out of there which is not a big deal, but I also asked the rep to fix my turn signal light which was not preformed at all…it is a pain to install this bulb which I can do, but I asked them to do it and they didn’t do the job???? It is very disappointing to ask for service and then not receive it! I wouldn’t go back there…read the other reviews of this place and decide for yourself

Called a couple days ahead of time for a tire change. Guys said tire would be in on Thursday so we scheduled the appointment for then. Called in Wednesday and they literally had no record of me calling or making an appointment. Complete waste of time

This place has always done me solid but this last time was wild. Dropped my car off at 10am, heard nothing from them so I decided to call half an hour before they close. They told me they haven’t got to my car and there were 7 ahead of mine. So my car was there all day for nothing? They asked if they could keep it overnight… for an oil change. Wild, place is clown shoes.

Im sure its possibly struts because ive had the car 3 yrs and never changed them but conrads could have told me for sure if they inspected

HORRIBLE experience and even worse customer service. Never in my life have I posted a negative review somewhere but after today I am beside myself. I called 2 days ago to set up an appointment for 4 new tires, an alignment and an oil change. The manager said they would have the tires there by today and to bring my car in at 8 am. We dropped it right at 8 and my boyfriend asked if they had the tires there & ready - which they assured us they did. At this time they said it would take 2-3 hours. By 11am, they call and said the tires were never delivered from the warehouse so we asked if they had similar ones in a similar price range. The manager then said he had (2) Firestone all season tires, and he could pick up the other 2 from a nearby location but they would cost an extra $300. I said fine because I couldn’t afford to lose another WHOLE day of work waiting for this to be done. By 2pm we had zero update so we stopped in and he said the tires just now arrived. ✨MIRACULOUSLY✨. We went back home and by 5 pm there was still no update so we tried calling to which we received no answer so we went back over at 5:30. When we walked in the manager didn’t even have the decency to look at us or acknowledge us and instead he ran to the back and sent someone else out to talk to us and it just so happened that my car was finishing up at that very moment!!!! After 11 HOURS and an entire day wasted waiting - not able to go to work either, my car was finally done! This place is a JOKE and so is their customer service. At least have the decency to call with an update since you managed to make more money off me with tires I did not order in the first place because they knew I simply needed it done. Not to mention the tires I originally ordered were for 85,000 miles and the ones I had to settle on were for 65,000. There’s a million other places to get new tires, do not waste your time or money on Lakewood Conrad’s like I did!!!

TL;DR got called a "piece of shit" after they held my car all day just to figure out they didn't have the right tires. Waste of time and unprofessional. My wife dropped off her Mazda 6 at 11am for service. She was taken care of by David Murray. He said the car would be done in 1 hour and 45 minutes. At 6pm, we still had no contact from the site. I went to see the status of her car, and spoke to Dave Murray. The car had just been put up onto the jacks, and he said it would be ready by 6:35pm. He apologized for "whomever told you about the 1h45m wait time." At 6:30pm, Dave Murray called to inform us that the site did not have the right tires, so to come pick her car up in the same condition it was dropped off. When I went in to speak to Dave Murray at 6:35pm, he was extremely unprofessional. He blamed us for ordering the wrong tires. I was upset that at 11am he didn't tell my wife that they didn't have her tires. When I mentioned I was disappointed with the service and I'd like his name, he initially refused to give it to me. I asked again. He rose his voice, and showed me a paper with his name on it, aggressively saying "there ya go, you better get the spelling right." I said thank you, and he aggressively slammed my wife's electric car key onto the table. As I walked out, he continued to yell at me, and at one point called me a "piece of shit" and a "chum". I reported this to Conrad's a week ago and still have not heard back.
