We stumbled upon this gem because we always go to Angelo's pizza for the awesome pizza and we ordered cassata cake as our dessert there. Well lo and behold, the cassata cake is sourced from K B! We decided we had to go check it out and we're so glad we did. Amy was so sweet and helped us decide what other sweets we wanted to try. They have so many flavor options and their talent is evident in the numerous gorgeous cake displays. The greenhouse is so cute and honestly it's a whole vibe! You won't be disappointed!

Cannot say enough about this STUNNING bakery. My parent and I have been here a couple times and each time we are blown away by the incredible service, the absolutely breathtaking and mouthwatering treats, and the gorgeous dine-in area. Today we were greeted and served by Amy, who was an absolute sweetheart. She gave us some great recommendations that didn't let us down! The macarons and other pastries are some of the best I've ever had! Very LGBTQ+ and child friendly! You can find a great treat for everyone here!

Wonderful place to pick up some baked goods, or sit in! They have great coffee drinks and tea, and can design custom cakes as well!

Called ahead to see what was available and they were able to hold a birthday cake for me to pick up later in the day. Vanilla with vanilla, buttercream and macaroons. It was delicious. Vanilla can be dry and flavorless but this definitely wasn't! Also a great place to go to grab a cup of coffee and get some work done. Definitely will be back

We had them for our wedding last year, 10/15/2022, and after a year in the freezer this cake is still amazing!! Please use them for your wedding! You will NOT be disappointed!

My only regret is not getting the name of the lovely lady who helped me when I visited recently.We ordered a pumpkin pie for Thanksgiving and I had scheduled for a 12:00pm pickup time on Tuesday. I arrived and the lady at the counter said she was just getting it boxed up and would be just a moment. No worries, I'm in no rush! A few minutes later she came back out and offered a free creme brûlée macaron as a thank you for being so patient. She was incredibly professional and friendly the entire time. She had me take a look at the pie when she brought it out and it looked wonderful! She thanked me again and I was on my way.The pie was absolutely delicious. I'm usually not a pumpkin pie person but my boyfriend really loves it so we decided to order one, and wow it was incredible! Every other pumpkin pie will now taste a little less good now that I've tried the one they prepared for us.And the macaron! First off, how thoughtful that she even offered one for me to try while I was waiting! As I mentioned, it was creme brûlée flavor, and it was wonderful. Perfect texture, flavor was present but not overpowering, and it just looked very tasty. I would highly recommend!Again, I wish I knew the lady's name who helped us, as she deserves so much praise during what I imagine is likely quite a stressful time for all of the employees at the store. I'll also add that the other staff members I interacted during my short time there were also quite friendly. Service like this (Oh, and of course the delicious food!) will absolutely be bringing us back as repeat customers. Thank you again so much, and I hope you all are getting some much-deserved rest after the holiday!

This bakery is so wonderful! The staff goes above and beyond to help make milestones special and when I was running behind on ordering a shower cake they accommodated my late request. Amazing customer service and everything tastes delicious!! I highly recommend : )

My family and I hosted my bridal shower here in August and it was the perfect space for a small get together! We did an ice cream themed shower and we purchased sundae toppings, cookies, and brownies from KB that were wonderful! Lots of compliments! Thanks for the awesome space and treats!

I've been going to the same bakery for special event cakes for years, but wanted to try somewhere with more trendy and consistent designs, since this was for a really special occasion! I browsed their website, which was super user friendly, and found a cake I really liked. I called them (because you're not able to email them) and asked if the colors could be matched to the bridal shower invitation and if a few lemon slices could be added. They said yes, but were not able to give me a price. I thought that was weird but the girl seemed confused and maybe new, so I was just letting it go. I thought it would be about the same as the cake off the website.I came to pick up the cake and it was absolutely beautiful! So stunning! Everything I wanted! I went to go pay, and it was a lot more than I was anticipating, but what could I do!They gave no handling instructions, so I treated it like the other bakery I've always ordered at. When I arrived at my house with the cake, I realized these two bakeries and their cakes are VERY different.I'm used to cakes having buttercream frosting, and them being refrigerated, which means the icing would be hard and wouldn't get easily messed up. I'm also used to the cakes fitting nicely into a sturdy box.However, at KB, the icing is soft whipped cream that will get destroyed even with the slightest touch. And the cake was on a doily, which made the cake slide all around in the box!!! And the box was so flimsy, you couldn't even carry the cake without damaging it. Needless to say, the half the cake was destroyed. I tried my best to fix the frosting at home.When it came time to eat the cake, it didn't even taste good either. Lacked a lot of flavor. And it was supposed to be a premium flavor: lemon curd !!! I’ve had lemon curd at other bakeries, so guess I was hoping it would be as good (or better) but the flavor was such a let down.I'll be sticking to my other bakery from now on. Their lemon curd and butter cream are fabulous! And the boxes are sturdy. And transporting the cake is easy. The only thing KB did better was the beautiful decorating ! But with the thin cardboard box, the pretty decorating didn’t really matter since it was impossible to transport the cake without destroying it.

Cute little place, have nice cakes and some decent pastries. I enjoyed my experience and the staff was very nice. The only thing I didn't enjoy was finding parking, but I guess that is expected in lakewood.
