My friends and I did a workshop at Yates Perfumes and it was so much fun! Melissa, the owner, did a fantastic job guiding us through the process. I wear my custom perfumes often, and had such a good time that I’m definitely going to do it again sometime. She also created my all-time favorite scent, Orca, which I love so much I have multiple bottles so I’m never without it. 100% recommend visiting Yates for your perfume needs!

I created my own perfume and had a wonderful time! Melissa at Yates Perfumes was the perfect host. I participated in one of her workshops and wear my custom made perfume all the time. Great activity to do with friends, family, or the work crew. She also has an adorable ceramics studio - Good Witch Pottery with the cutest gnomes and other creations.

Highly recommend! I brought a few employees for a perfume class. We had so much fun. Melissa is extremely knowledgeable. Everyone fell in love with the scent they made. So much fun!

We had a fabulous and fascinating time with Melissa celebrating the birthday of a very sweet 16 year old with a perfume workshop. Melissa was full of interesting and helpful info, her studio is a cozy treasure trove of goodies, and she even had bottled water and treats for us! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

My boss scheduled a perfume class at Yates and we all met up there today. The experience was wonderful! Melissa is very knowledgeable and really helpful. Her space is unique and her decor is delightful! She really helped us each make a scent that perfectly blended together and was personal to each individual. I would most definitely recommend Yates to anyone looking for a fun girl's night, a signature scent, or even a date! Thank you, Melissa for your time, expertise, and for creating a personalized, intimate gathering for us ladies!! It was so much fun!

I took a class with Melissa at Nature's Oasis over on Detroit. She was very helpful for a beginner at perfume (me!) and helped me with a scent that I'm wearing daily so far, and still loving! I'm already thinking about the next scent I want (maybe a recreation of a perfume that's hard to get these days).

Really cool experience for perfume creations. Wine and a group of people sharing similar vibrations. It’s like you’re in your own home making perfume because of the relaxed environment. Crystals, stones, and other cute finds available for purchase at a really low price. Highly recommend the experience.

Went there tonight for a Tarot and Perfume making workshop. They have different themes every month , like one might be wine and perfume. Melissa is very helpful and the selection of essential oils is large. She guides you in how to go through the selection process. I was trying to recreate a discontinued scent that I used to wear, and came pretty close to it, maybe even better. Definitely longer lasting. I've had this scent on for 3 hrs now and still smells great. Price is reasonable , too.Highly recommended!
