Most difficult bank I've dealt with. Had someone somehow get my card info and make some fraudulent purchases and was thankfully notified by chase and had my card cancelled. Received my replacement card and used it for roughly two weeks before I tried to buy something only for my card to repeatedly be declined. I called chase customer support and got no answer and had to reserve a place in line to receive a call back. They finally got back with me and told me they cancelled my replacement card because I used the same pin as my old card and that somehow tied them together and made my replacement card compromised? They cancelled my replacement card without any warning or notification nor did they mention anything about me having to change my pin for my replacement card. I received my new replacement, replacement card after waiting another week and made sure to go and change my pin only to find out I have to wait another week just to receive a pin they're making and if I want to set a custom pin I have to physically go to the bank to set that. Why can't it just be emailed or texted?? This whole experience has just made me not want to bank with chase the only reason I use them is because of their zelle feature.

I had this bank for years but then they cancelled both cards on my joint account with my partner. We closed the account shortly after. That was 6 months ago and now I am trying to make an appointment with the local chase branch at Lancaster, Oh and no one has been trained to answer phone. Because of these problems I will be going elsewhere

Wasted over an hour on the phone because I was deliberately hung up on. Customer service at Chase is horrible. I deposited a payroll check for $4000 and they've had a hold on it for 2 days. Done with Chase!!

I tried to deposit in my bank account some rolled coins and about $5 worth of unrolled Quarters and dimes, the guy said he could only take my rolled coins but they have the audacity to have a sign hanging up right next to guys window talking about a coin shortage. Must not be that short on coins if you’re turning people away ? I called corporate and they weren’t much help either

Customer service is nonexistent unless you wanna talk to a foreign person working from home that one can barely understand. After I posted this, i noticed MANY reviews with the same experience. They cut off the call but if you go in there's never anyone there. I will definitely change banks because of this ONE location. If you live in Lancaster, ohio do NOT deal with this bank.

I have never been to a bank that just refuses calls from customers, not only that I've never been tubing with horrible and very immature employees to a bank company with such a big name, do yourself a favor if you're reading this review don't go to this Bank!!!!! Not all Chase banks are like this I'm not saying nothing bad about Chase they are a good industry they are a good banking company don't get it twisted, I'm just saying this specific location of Chase Bank in Lancaster Ohio downtown this one has have to be the absolute worst ever, you're better off with any other bank honestly I would choose Woodforest if I were you they are reliable you don't have to pay monthly fees and you are guaranteed 100% help from employees and no I'm not sponsoring them I'm just being upfront and being honest because they have done a wonderful job for me and I am joining the army national Coast guard and they even help people that are in the service or just about join the service and you get more on top of that, do yourself a favor don't go to Chase Bank she's literally any Bank and if you try to get a phone call from this place good luck, hope you have a great day and hope this review was helpful to you by any way or any needs possible have a good day.

I have never had issues with Chase bank. Except at this location. We chose to walk in because there are so many negative comments about the phones. Chase as a whole is really pushing for everything virtual, which personally I think is awesome, but when you want to sit down with a person there is no one available on-site. Everything is appointment only. Appointments are M-F only, and the latest appointment is 330pm. If you have a normal job that is difficult. If you want to open a checking account, they will tell you to use the app..so if you are planning on stopping in to open an account, don't bother because there's no one to assist. The tellers can send you a link to the Chase app, but thats it. If you have issues or questions you have to keep getting in and out of line to ask the tellers. The tellers are very nice, but I feel bad for them, because I am sure that push for virtual everything and Chase's lack of staffing on site probably adds even more to their jobs. Eventhough you can make a checking account on the app...unfortunately you can't do a joint account on the app. For that you have to make an appointment. Coordinating x2 peoples schedules, requesting time off work x2, inadvertently losing money x2 just to accommodate giving your money to bank that doesn't seem to care about getting anyone's business in the first place. If you are wanting a bank that has people to help you, this is not the bank for you.

Tried calling several times over the course of a few days and never got an answer.Assuming they are doing what all the other banks are (opening accts by appointment only) it would definitely seem like a catch 22.

Tried to call in do 30 minutes to report that I found someone's credit card. No one bothered to answer the phone during normal business hours. The 800 number also doesn't allow a third party to report the card. Guess I'm doing some holiday shopping.
