We buy a lot of things at Lowe's. Remodeling an old house to new appliances.Yesterday two young men employees chatting at the counter. Couldn't be bothered to secure a cart for my purchase when asked. The told me there might be some in aisle 13.Training needs to be reviewed.

We normally find what we are looking for most of the time. Apparently when it gives you a aisle location of an item on the website its not up to date. When we finally found an employee (its like most stores they are no where to found). They had no clue what we were talking about even with a picture of the item. Like most stores employees only get the basic of training and then thrown to the wolves. Chain stores should do much better job of training their employees. Ended up leaving and going to menards to get the items we needed instead.

Antonio at the pick-up desk did an awesome job fixing my complicated dishwasher situation, and then loaded it into my car for me. Thanks Antonio!

Lowe's is a little high priced on some things but all in all I love the selection on tools and that pretty lil chick at the register was super friendly which gives them a solid 5 stars

Employees always seem kinda confused or lost. I've only gone in a few times and I end up at Menards.

You can always rely on a good variation of almost anything you could need. The exception to this would be the plumbing products are often a cheaper made version than what you can buy at a company like Carr supply, Ferguson and Winn Nelson. I would prefer to go to a showroom where a consultant would help me select a higher quality product and be sure I have the right one needed. Just saying.

Awful store. I had an issue with something I bought there and their entire customer service time were about the most unhelpful store employees as I have ever dealt with.If I could give 0 stars I would. I will be paying off my Lowe's card and will never come back.Replying to Lowes: It's not the product t that I'm having an issue with. Machines fail.Your people are horrible. Never be back.

We placed an online order on October 4th and it scheduled us for October 13th delivery. We called into the store to speak to the manager about a possible reschedule about this delivery and the front end manager, Maddie and she was extremely rude to us. She wasn’t helpful at all and refused to try to help us. We have bought at least $150,000 of product over the years, and we understand that it’s not their largest account, but I feel as if we still deserve a little bit of respect. We order so much that the gentlemen that delivers our merchandise knows our family personally. We’re going to call and speak to corporate tomorrow, but this experience has really made us want to cancel our $1800 order and go through Menards.

This is a message to Upper Management and those who are considering working at Lowes 1527(Lancaster), from a former employee. Informing all about the abuse that goes on at the store and hopefully saving others from what happened to me. Organized into bullet points for easier reading.Summarized Bullets* Zero-Hour Schedules given to employees to encourage them to quit so Lowes can say your still employed, not give you work, and avoid unemployment/severance fees if they simply fired you without just cause. This is a million dollar corporation, not a local bussiness. They have more then enough resources to ensure all employees are given the hours they signed on for.*Upper Management will gaslight/abuse you and value having five more lawn mowers in up stock then making sure their employees get work.*Inconsistent work schedule, their is no job security here. If you have a family or people to support DO NOT WORK HERE.*The front of the store says they are hiring, this is a lie. What they mean is that you are put on a wait list until they decide to move you forward which could in actuality be months in advanceThe Whole StoryI was originally hired as a night stocker, being paid 14.30 an hours, an extra dollar because I was working at night and was signed on as a *part-time* employee, 20 hours minimum. Which is a very important number to remember. Lowes has a policy where they try to keep lots of up stock on the shelves at all times so for a couple months I was working full-time hours and was loving it, however soon my co-worker had told me how he had been given a *zero hour schedule* in January. For anyone who doesn't know what a zero hours schedule is, essentially employers give employees zero hours to work for any amount of time, this is typically done so that the business, can save money by not paying the employee, and encourage them to quit so that way they won't have to pay unemployment/severance fees if they were to fire them, nor can the employee pursue legal action because they "quit'. This phenomena happened recently again with me and other part timers having this be ongoing for three months now. Luckily I was able to find another job that payed a little less but I know job security wise I won't have to worry about this abuse there. Regardless I hadn't quit because I did really enjoy the job there hoping that at some point I could return, A week ago one of the upper management called asking if I could come in for three days and he'd even train me to be register, a little different from what I was used too but I was interested. You'd think that since I'd be on the front as a cashier I'd at least be able to get the part time hours every week. Yet when I asked that he gaslighted me saying I should be grateful for even being offered the hours and that others needed them too. Pushing me to quit since I wasn't willing to give up the full-time secure job I had been working to cover my rent and living expenses with my fiancé for these three days of work and the *chance* of maybe getting hours if I trained as a cashier. I then decided to simply quit and am in a place with managers and owners who actually respect and appreciate their employees, The upper management at Lowes value having five more lawn mowers in upstock then making sure the people who work for them are given the hours they were signed on for. If you are planning on working here regardless I HIGHLY suggest looking into a union, the training you will have to watch will tell you that unions are bad, but that's only because Lowes and other corporations don't want too be forced to guarantee the hours/benefits that their employees signed on for.

Very friendly staff and they have an amazing pet policy as long as your pet isn't aggressive or causing a scene they are perfectly fine with you bringing them in! I personally have a macaw (large bird) that they were excited to meet! I would suggest calling the front desk to ask permission if you are bringing a exotic pet!!!
