This is the WORST bank I’ve ever had to deal with. Ever since they bought out Standing Stone they have plummeted. If you log into the app it gives you a different balance than if you were to log into the computer. How much money do you have?!? I definitely do not know! That is if you can even log in and look at your account because they make you change your password constantly! Almost every time I need to see I am locked out. They put a fraud alert on my account because I sent my son $100. I could not buy gas. I called in and the lady said they usually call you. Did they call me? No!! Did they text me??? No!!! They sent me an email! Absolute garbage!!

I’m deeply disappointed in how The Savings Bank handled the data breach that exposed my sensitive personal information, including my name and Social Security Number. It’s completely unacceptable that their response was limited to offering a one-year subscription to identity monitoring, with only a short enrollment window. This feels like an inadequate attempt to check a box rather than a serious effort to support customers affected by their negligence.
I urge The Savings Bank to reevaluate their policies and take meaningful steps to protect and compensate their customers in situations like this. The way they’ve handled this breach has left me feeling undervalued and cheated.
If you are currently or considering banking with The Savings Bank, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere until either Jeff Farthing (their president) steps down or they show they are willing to prioritize customer security and trust.

This is an awful bank, we have a rv loan through them and it's the biggest pain to deal with, their online website is garbage. We are refinancing through another bank. I would not recommend them to anyone.

I got a letter stating that my identity was stolen March 11th due to their employees fault. If I refuse to sign up with an app I'm not protected, and they're not liable for identity theft. I believe this is a scam, and they're getting kickbacks, or making money selling identities. It's time we start bringing a case against banks. Because we know that law enforcement will never do anything to help us.

This is one of the worst banks in Lancaster. I was with this bank for over 12yrs when it was Standing Stone, when it changed over to Savings Bank thats when it all began, so go off the earlier reviews that are a yr and earlier. I changed to Unifed Bank, you will see that they really want to help you, and go beyond and they answer their phones. Now I have to change my mom out from Savings Bank, they keep updating their computers, leaving customers without a way to get to THEIR money and my mom doesnt have a cell phone or a computer so when she calls, it's a recording or they have you on hold forever and then they usually hang up on you. All she wants to know is the number that she can call to get her account info..and then when she gets through they give her a website to go to. My mom has no cell phone or a computer and she told them. Ridiculous how they treat their customers.

Apparently they're having trouble with losing money after a "realignment" over the weekend, causing a family member of mine to be missing $2100. So now they can't buy food or meds. Stay away from this bank!

Its a great bank, everyone there is very helpful. Only issue I have had is with the atm deposit-I would appreciate if the atm programmer would set an option to ask if you need more time, instead of "retaining your card for security purposes".

Standing Stone Bank has been my bank for years. I strongly recommend them. I have never had a bad experience working with them. They are polite, fast, knowledgeable and very friendly.

Absolutely the best bank around. The staff is very polite and eager to help. Any time I have had a question they have been exceptionally quick to give me all the information. They are willing to work with with their customers and give you their time without you feeling like a inconvenience or like your being rushed. I started using Standing stone for our business and have switched all my personal accounts over to them as well due to there customer service and outstanding products. After only being in there a few times in person everyone knew my name and made me feel important always happy to help and to see if there is anything they can do to for their customers.

Tellers are very polite. Costs nothing to open an account, plenty of ways to get cash back, resources of a large bank, with the customer service of a small bank. Anytime I have any questions they give black and white answers. Wouldn’t rather bank anyplace with . Shannon is #1!
