I always get my corn at the Chillicothe store and had been used to seeing it for $8.99 50 lb bag of whole kernel corn. I was in Lancaster and decided to pick up a couple of more bags and it was $11.49 there for the same exact bag. Ridiculous the stores are only 40 miles apart so I went back to Chillicothe store directly from Lancaster and there it is $8.99. that is just uncalled for tractor supply. I can see it a couple hundred miles away because of supply chain differences but these stores are right next to each other

Prices are significantly higher than that of Rural King, which would be my only complaint. If you don't get control of your inflated pricing, you will be the next on the chopping block. Furthermore, the fact that you have 2 TSC stores in Lancaster, population 40,000+/-, means that you are cannibalizing your own stores, monopolizing the area, in an attempt to keep the likes of Rural King out. This doesn't mean you're a "bad" store. To the contrary, TSC is a great store. You need to consider adjusting your profit margin expectations and pass the savings on to the customers. The increase in traffic would offset your adjusted net profit expectations, thus appeasing your shareholders.

The prices are slightly higher than can be found elsewhere, but the convenience of having a store on the East side of town more than makes up for that on most occasions. The store is dog friendly, which is nice, and the employees almost always greet the dog with a treat at checkout time (ymmv, like everything else). The store itself is slightly disorganized to my mind, and somewhat messy, but again, the convenience is king in this case.
