I was looking for bridesmaids outfits, and I drove about an hour to AK Couture. Amrita has a beautiful collection of unique designs, all hand embroidered and custom made. She was extremely patient and very helpful in choosing the right design and fit. I highly recommend this place especially if you’re looking for quality work and unique Indian / indo- western outfits.

Amrita was Amazing! It was like playing dress up in a princess’s closet….and she was as excited as I was! We found the perfect dress for my nephews wedding but it was a little tight. She referred me to her alterations, Aruba and she was also amazing! I can’t say enough good things about both of them! I am a bigger woman than most Indian women, and they were able to help me feel beautiful!

Amrita is extremely helpful and professional at advising the appropriate outfit for the occasion. She offers a wonderful selection of designer outfits at her boutique. The quality of hand stitched and beading on the clothing is superb!

Amrita was great! We had a last minute request to get fitted for a wedding the next weekend. She replied promptly and got us an appointment the next day. She was very gracious in explaining the background of the traditional Indian wedding and guided us as we selected our clothing. My girlfriend and I both found something lovely that fits, and we were able to go home that same day with our clothing.

AK Couture was the answer to a prayer! My wife and I were invited to an Indian wedding in Dallas, which required either black tie or Indian attire, but I had no idea who to turn to locally if we wanted to go the Indian route. Thank goodness Google search brought us to AK Couture, where Amrita did a superb job in outfitting us head-to-toe. Amrita was super knowledgeable about current fashions and what was appropriate for the events we were going to. We had multiple compliments from the bride and groom’s extended family, and my best: one of the non-Indian black-tie attendees told me “Man, you look sharp!”We’re so fortunate to have found AK Couture.(navigation note: AKC currently occupies the back part of Feather Touch Nail Salon retail space, which is the prominent sign)

We highly recommend AK Couture! My husband and I needed outfits for an out of town Indian wedding. We found Amrita’s shop online, and couldn’t be more grateful. She was extremely kind, had a wonderful selection of styles for men & women and remained patient with (me) regardless of my picky taste and indecisiveness. She shared her knowledge with us regarding the Indian culture and what to expect at the wedding, and the do’s & don’ts which was super helpful. She helped accessorize my Saree with the perfect jewelry to finish my look, but also accentuate my dress and skin tone. She is truly amazing at what she does, and provides the best customer service. We had a TIGHT timeline and required alterations, and she made it happen for us without any issue!! We received so many compliments on our outfits, and it is all thanks to Amrita!

I highly recommend AK Couture when you need custom clothing made. I needed two dresses with a tight turnaround for an out of town family Indian wedding. I wanted one saree and the other a non-Indian dress. We worked together to find just the perfect dresses. The fabric needed to be dyed for each and were perfect when I saw them for the first time. Amrita kept me updated daily on the status and was an absolute delight to work with and even helped me with the right jewelry. I felt beautiful in the dresses. I will call Amrita any time I need something made. Highly recommend.
