Just called to have some changes made to my account. The lady who answered the phone was kind and helpful, and even helped me reverse some fees. Exceptional customer service and pleasant interaction overall.

This bank will hold deposits at their discretion for ten days, including paychecks. The mobile deposit limit is very low ($1,000) forcing customers to make deposits at a brick and mortar branch. The 5/3 mobile app is visually unappealing and has many glitches. I wouldn't recommend this bank to a young person who needs immediate access to their money or does not have time to make a trip to a physical bank location. The entire process of opening the account, waiting on debit cards, and actually accessing my funds will take at least two weeks. It is very backwards especially compared to other more modern mobile banking accounts with instant access to mobile deposits.

I have been a Fifth Third customer for over 10 years and the experience has been downhill for many of those years. They NEVER ask for my password. I have talked to customer service 4 times about this and no one cares and nothing changes. I can never get a new card issued on the first call. They say they will issue and then I call back and find out it never happened. This is not specific to this location however this location is notorious for not asking for my password. Switching banks. I urge anyone else who values customer service and security to do the same.

The staff is always friendly and accommodating. I opened my checking account with them when I started college over a decade ago. I have had car loans through 53 but never a mortgage. I feel like they have always treated me fairly with prompt and courteous service. If I had one thing to say that is a little negative... Their transaction fees on cash foreign currency could be a little lower.... But how often do you have to cash out a currency anyway.

Stereotypical bank layout. The staff can be friendly depending on who you get, and the 2 ATM's on the premise are very useful for withdrawals/deposits after hours

Do not work with this bank for your Mortgage. I am not even the client of this bank but trying to sell my house to a person who is. Loan was supposed to close over a week ago. For two weeks now realtors, title agency and just about everyone in between has been requesting over and over, even begging to get any type of information at all on what the delay is and to get an expected time frame. The loan office Skip Lowe has done next to nothing. Has no information. Ever. Might as well get a recording of him saying "management is involved. I'll let you know". For weeks. We can't get any kind of timeline. As with most mortgage deals this is causing a domino effect. To say Fifth Third is dropping the ball is not enough. Buying a house is stressful enough. No one needs their bank mucking it up for them.
