I had my car towed to their lot because it just died in the middle of the road. I had never done business with Hometown but they were right across the street from where I worked. They ran the tests on the car and let me know the problem and the options for repair. The car was my husband's work car so we didn't own it. I really couldn't make the decision on what to do. The actual owner lives out of state now so communicating was very difficult. (Owner lives in Florida...hurricanes you know) so it's taken me way too long to get the mess resolved. After letting the Dan's what was going on... they were so very understanding. They have let the car sit taking up valuable space. They were always super nice and very patient with me. I honestly am very thankful!! Most businesses wouldn't have even considered letting me take this long!
The least I could do was let people know they are good people

This shop is by far one of the best experience I have on getting my Truck taken care of. Worked with my Insurance on a Major Claim and do a great job keeping me in the loop on progress and not trying to upsell me on repairs that are not needed. If your looking for a Trustworthy Shop this is the place.

HIGHLY recommended, based on the 3 cars they've worked on for me. They have the expertise and equipment (including computer diagnostic) to do anything a Dealer can do and I know that Hometowne will do it right, to a fair price, have it done on time, and won't pressure me to add on other work (though I do appreciate that they check over the whole car).

These guys are awesome! I've been to too many places where I've felt like they're incompetent and or just ripping me off. These guys never disappoint. They are very thorough, go above and beyond to check over your vehicle even if it's not the issue that it was brought in for free of charge. Not to mention their work and parts have an included warranty at no additional cost too. I've been a customer for years and I will keep going back because they actually value my business.

I had been a loyal customer here, for years. Well, I recently had a terrible experience unfortunately. My car was with these guys for the span of a couple of weeks while several repairs were being done. When I got my car back, I noticed that the driver side door handle had been replaced with a non-matching replacement handle (which was missing a lock tumbler assembly, to boot).My door handle had been swiped out /stolen while on their premises.Ask yourself, would a common thief go to the trouble of replacing a stolen part, or is this something more likely to be done by a shady mechanic? Sadly, I have come to the latter conclusion, as the car was AT a repair shop, after all...Danny did not seem to be enthusiastic about helping to resolve this situation. Why that was the case when i had just paid them about $3500 in repairs in the span of 3 weeks is anyone's guess. I'm not saying he was aware of this shady theft, but he should have offered to make it right by replacing it 100% cost free with a matching and lock containing door handle!So please, avoid this place. There may be a bad apple in their group of mechanics, or at least a criminal is prowling their lot looking for car parts to steal (But hey, at least they might replace half-assedly!). To top it off, they didn't even offer to check their surveillance footage on my behalf. Oh, and their lot is not 100% covered by their cameras - so that was convenient. One should be able to trust that their vehicle won't be stripped for parts while it waits at a car repair establishment. Avoid this place unless you want to risk that.
