I went there to get my hair done in an up due for my rehearsal dinner. I just wanted a simple wrap around pony tail. I chose them because I didn’t think I was asking for anything even slightly complex, and wanted to just give myself the peace of mind to know someone else would be doing it for me. I paid them hourly for service. Took two hours for it to look bad. The student who did my hair literally said “this doesn’t look right and I can’t figure it out,” just for someone else to come fix it in 5 minutes. It took over 1 hour for them to “loose curl” my hair. Then another hour for them to put it in a low pony… Dropped over $45 for a 5 minute style I could have done myself at my house, and I’m not even good at hair. That was my personal experience. Of course I recognize they are students, but it shouldn’t take 2 hours for a pony. Made me late to my rehearsal. I ended up having to tell them I need to go and left in tears on my drive home. I would definitely never step foot in there again or waste my money. My rehearsal dinner pictures look like I legit took a brush and tied my hair back. It was embarrassing.

DO NOT GO HERE if you want to actually learn how to do hair from scratch. They'll claim their curriculum is too advanced for you if you don't know how to section good enough on the 1st day :/

I’ve been there many times, but this is my first time leaving a review. They are truly professional, and every time they work on my hair, they are so gentle that I end up feeling sleepy. They always understand exactly what I want and cut my hair accordingly, so I’m really grateful. I’ll be going back for another haircut soon.

I’m so happy I found this place! Liz cut my hair, and I love it soo much!! She is so sweet! And thanks to the very funny, and talented Marco for making my boyfriend look amazing!! The instructor Josephine was incredible!! She was all over the place helping everyone and was so kind! I will definitely be back ❤️

I have had my hair cut here twice, and both times have been a great experience! While it takes a little longer than a normal haircut, the students and their supervisors do a great job of delivering the haircut you want and checking in with you along the way. I would highly recommend!

I recently came in to see Carmen Lacey for a partial highlight and cut after my hair was damaged from sun in spray. She did an excellent job and my hair color is now evenly blended and looks better than ever before. She was very easy to talk to and made sure I was comfortable the whole time. I will definitely be coming back and following her on her journey!

I’m a student at the school and personally love it. I’m encouraged everyday to come in and the tasks I do are either complimented or I’m given pointers on how to be better. There’s always gonna be drama (it’s a school full of young adults, there’s gonna be drama) but as long as you come in and do what you’re supposed to do, there are little to no issues!
