Took my dog to the vet yearly and as he got older had bloodwork done yearly to try and catch problems early; as was told from 1st dog I took here that died of cancer of the spleen, if caught early enough could remove tumor/spleen and live fine. 2yrs ago my dog had diarrhea and vet just gave probiotic food, no xrays nothing done. Took dog back for diarrhea again more food he wouldn't even eat. Still no xrays nothing. Few months ago took dog back cuz he wasn't feeling well. 2 trips and $1200 later after 2 day stay to flush liver. Given oral meds n sent home... took him to MedVet in cbus (excellent place) Had answers asap and turned out to be cancer and numerous small tumors in his abdomen. 7 liters of fluid drained before I had him put to rest. Vet tech told me over phone he had liver disease...never either vet (seen both) 1 was too busy to see me the day I went to cbus. Young kids at counter as clueless as well. Seem like no communication between staff. Just care about the $$$$$. Won't be taking my new pup there. Your choice... I'm out

I have to thank Appleseed Valley for after calling a number of Vet's closer to my area and they all said they didn't have time to see my Uncles dog after emergency service for a terrible equipment accident. Appleseed Valley only said one thing, you can bring him in today so we can see what has happened and we can go from there. This was going to be a long term process, of cleaning and debriding his foot pads and top of feet had been demolished from an excavator accident. They took care of him and now we are getting on the schedule to he can be seen every two days until his pads and feet get to a more manageable place. Again, great service when I was in need. Care, everyone was very helpful. Couldn't have found a better place even though they are 45 minutes away. It's about the Vet not the distance!

I cannot say enough good things about the Drs and staff here! Our dog got hit by a car many years ago and tore his ACL on both side, Rascal Animal Clinic did the repair but 9 years later it was still letting out a clear/light red liquid, I had taken him back to Rascal only to be told he was fine, but you could see almost a hole, it did not effect his everyday life. Friends of ourS took their Rottweilers here for their ACL so that's how we ended up here from Lewis Center. After the Dr looked at it he said that our dog was basically rejecting the hardware and it needed to be taken out and that there should be enough scare tissue that he would be ok. They were right!! After all those years he is no longer getting stains on everything and he seems to be happier not licking himself, all because one dr knew what he was doing.

Please beware! We lost or beloved Westie in January under questionable circumstances and had our other Westie misdiagnosed with allergies that turned out to be heart failure. We had an 11 year relationship with these doctors and this whole experience was so disheartening, please don't hesitate to get a second opinion!!

Appleseed Valley Veterinary is wonderful! We have taken our dogs there for years! The doctors and all of the staff at both locations are amazing! Very friendly and knowledgeable. It is nice to have our fur babies loved and taken care of like they are their own! Highly recommend!

I had a bad experience with the way they handled my sick cat. She had bladder stones, yet they treated her for a urinary tract infection and kept her on antibiotics for 3 weeks. Never took an x-ray, even though they told me at the beginning that it could be bladder stones. So, of course, she went into kidney failure, they had to keep her for 3 days before calling me and saying she needed to be put to sleep. I spent over $1,000. on treatment that they said needed to be done, only to lose her anyway, plus money that I could have used for other things. They are all about how much money they can get out of you, plus their mother is the office manager and a nasty person. She told me not to come back because I later questioned her son as to why this happened. I don't think they cared one little bit about my cat, they knew that I always paid my bill and were out for the money. They will never admit to any mistakes, will blame you instead.

They are truly the best in the area! They are always friendly, very knowledgeable and you can tell they love what they do! When other vets refused to see my dog because he was reactive and fearful coming out of a very bad situation, the vets here did not hesitate in seeing him. They found a safe and effective way of treating him that made him feel more relaxed! When my other dog got into some Ibuprofen they were quick to treat her and never gave up even when things did not look good. They saved her life no doubt. I would never take any pet any place else. They are even amazing with exotics as I just found out with my new tortoise!

This was my first visit. I called to have my 2 dogs in for their yearly check up. They were able to make appointments right away and my previous vet was able to send their records directly to them. The staff was friendly and efficient. They even saved me an office visit charge by letting me know one of my dogs didn't need a check up for another 6 months!
