The Kell Hardware crew is AMAZING! It's not Home Depot, Lowes, or any other big box store. They provide solutions to the weird problems we all seem to encounter during remodels, projects, etc. In short, they carry almost all the little bits that you need for every day projects. And if they don't have it..... ready for this.... they will actually tell you where to go find/buy the parts they don't have!By far, they are the best full service hardware store that I know of. I grew up in Lexington, moved away for many years, and after I moved back to Richland County, I am once again going to Kell's. Every time you walk in, you are greeted by Jeff, Jacob, or Peyton (the main characters) and when you leave, you'll leave with a resolution to your "problem."If nothing else, stop in and check out the plethora of Lexington history that is contained within the store. It is amazing!

This is the place for window screen repair! They not only replaced the screens, but added new clip locks on the bottoms and repaired a broken corner. FAST, REASONABLY PRICED AND FRIENDLY!!

This is a hardware store not a big box store there is someone available at the door to greet you almost every single time you walk in immediately ask you how your day is and if they can help you find what you're looking for, Walk you to that area of the store help you make a selection and add any information or advice they may have about your situation and offer to help in any way possible The people that run own and work at Kell hardware are absolutely wonderful people that care about what they do and care about their customers like their family... They don't have everything but if they don't have it the recommend the best place to get it. If you've never stopped in you should check them out it's a cool old building it's been around for a very long time Wood floors very nostalgic and truly a great selection.

I will for now on drive out of my way to get what I need from Kell’s. Throughly impressed with their selection of products.The best part about shopping at a locally owned hardware store is that one doesn’t have to weed through all the junk brands that one encounters in a big box store. Top quality and less runaround.

I have to say, Kell Hardware is the bomb. Man, what a step back in time, and I mean that in the best possible way. Old school SERVICE that is incredibly rare today. I'm working on a patio project and instead of wandering around a gigantic store in Ontario, I stopped at Kell's. I walked in and was immediately greeted. I explained what I'm doing and they personally walked me around the store, helped me gather up the exact right components, paint and proper fittings, cut the PVC at no charge, rung me up and had me out the door in less time than it would've taken me to drive to Ontario. Three people helped me while I was there -- THREE -- while simultaneously assisting other customers. It made me realize how much I miss dealing with real people who are knowledgeable and actually want to help. It just. Doesn't. Happen. But it happened at Kell's today. And it happens every time I've ever been there. Very thankful to have them right here in Lexington.

I always find what I need and more. I'd much rather support my local community vs walmart. I normally have great conversation with one of the employees while I'm there. They are always willing to help me find what I'm looking for. Always a pleasure to shop there.

Always helpful and frequently knowledgeable about various applications for their inventory. Nice to buy just a few fasteners if that's all I need, rather than 25 at a big box store.
