Excellent gym! It has a ton of equipment, and is really well organized. I saw another review that said it has grit, it’s good way to describe it. The weights are iron. The machines are metal. It looks like the place you go to pump iron, but really it has a lot of variety. The picture shows one area, there’s another area you can see through the opening, there’s another area behind me.

The trainers are great motivators and supporters! I have been very pleased with the progress I have made since becoming a member in Feb 2025! I have found the difference I was looking for in this gym! Keep up the great and appreciated work AF Trainers!

I have been a member of this club for 15 years and followed it from Clocktower to its present location. This club is clean, friendly, and safe (even at 4:30AM). 💜💜💜💜💜

I love this gym. I travel for work, so I go to a lot of ATF locations, and this one is my favorite. It’s clean, well taken care of, great equipment, newer equipment, the employees are happy, and they have a little cafe to buy snacks or protein. I am blown away at how much better this location is compared to my home location.

So I’ll admit that this location isnt my “home” gym location that I use every day, but I do use it at least once every couple of months. But I’ve brought a guest with me before and never had any issues. Now all of a sudden you have to pay an extra $10 per person, per visit if you want to bring a guest. The dude working said “there’s signs everywhere stating so”. The signs in question are a single printer paper sized, with small black font in fine print. Not only that but they let us finish an entire workout, 1.5 hours later, before approaching us. Had we known you had to pay (because the signs were like I said, not very noticeable) to have a guest, I would have went with my guest to planet fitness where you don’t have to pay extra for an extra person. The dude working would barely make eye contact with us or speak up so he could be heard and just mumbled how we would need to sign in and pay and yadada. All of this on top of not having any space to even move around other people here and getting kicked out of the studio or told to stay in a small corner (the same space I PAY to use too) because there is a class beginning soon, really makes this AF subpar at best. I’ve been to a lot of locations before that are privately owned and never had to pay to bring a guest. My membership contract when I signed up stated I could bring a guest 5 times in a months time frame. That was almost 4 years ago.

This gym is fantastic. It has the right amount of grit while still being well maintained and clean. To be honest this place started off with 5 stars the minute I saw a hack squat machine, giant tire and sledge hammers. This gym wasn't lacking anywhere else either.I especially like whoever laid everything out. There is a clear line of demarcation between, machines, machines that use free weights and the free weights themselves. They cram a lot into this gym but never did I feel like I would stumble across the person next to me added it stripping weight. The place is bigger on the inside than I thought and it just kept going like a gift that keeps giving. And whole some places have a punching bag and you have to hope you can find an old ratty pair of gloves, here you have your choice to choose from and 2 bags to strike.All in all an amazing place for the little of Lima to choose to workout in. Plus this place has an impressive little swag store.

Vast improvements made under new ownership! New equipment and cleaner! Would have given it 5 stars had they offered more classes! Zumba or Yoga ??♀️
