I was visiting Lima, Ohio from Chicago due to a death in the family and was in a real bind — I had just an hour to get my hair washed and styled before the service. I found Black Lace Hair Salon LLC on Google and took a chance. I’m so glad I did.
They got me in immediately, and I believe it was Jesse who took care of me. He was not only efficient and creative with the styling, but incredibly kind and professional. Everyone at the salon was warm and welcoming, which made a stressful day a little easier.
But what truly stood out was Jesse going above and beyond — he offered to drive me to the funeral himself so I wouldn’t have to wait for an Uber. That kind of personal, compassionate service is rare, and I won’t forget it.
Highly recommend this salon for both the quality of work and the quality of people.

Everyone is always so nice and friendly and making sure you are comfortable. It’s like you’re part of the family. And i appreciate the warm welcome. And Jesse decided to wash and blow dry my hair before it got braided and let me tell you…. Actually use your imagination ……just know my hair is not the easiest to manage.

This was the best experience I’ve had having my hair cut in FOREVER. I called and he didn’t hesitate to take me in last minute, and did an amazing job. They’re so friendly and welcoming. I’ll be coming back indefinitely and I’ll be sending my friends their way too!

Jesse was smooth and has a cool personality 😎 i wanted my hair braided, he had no 1 on deck but called Monique and was there in 10 minutes. That's service 💯👍💪she did a great job! Definitely stop by if you are in lima & need a hair cut or braided.
