Used this company when my mom was terminally ill. I spoke with the coordinator over the phone and explained that I would be back in my hometown the day of the consultation, but that it was imperative that I was dialed into the call because my father has experienced cognitive decline and so I would be helping him understand everything they said. I was promised I would be called, which you would think would also happen since I am the one who arranged the consult in the first place. 30 minutes past the appointment I end up having to be the one to call only to find out they moved forward with having my dad sign a contract for several thousand dollars because my aunt was also there.
Fast foward to their arrival. The workers REPEATEDLY had to be told to do things, and one of them said VERY disturbing things. I would not trust my loved ones with this company.

I work with Home Instead in the bowling-green Fremont area for four and a half years now. Even through these last few years where people were stretched thin, the staff and the carepros all worked together to make sure that our clients were cared for. They very quickly were able to schedule workers to meet our needs. Then when they did the schedule we consistently had the same 4 people. That was so reassuring to our whole family. They were great with communication with us as well. We will definitely call them again if we have a need and will be recommending them to others!

I highly recommend Home Instead in Lima, Ohio (All God's Graces, Inc.). They provided supplemental care for my brother-in-law in a retirement home in Bluffton, Ohio. He was a client who, shall we say, always knew what he wanted (during his career he had managed one of the largest departments of the federal government), and he always had the highest regard for the care provided by the management and staff of Home Instead.

Beware - although you have to provide a 2-week notice when terminating your contract, they can terminate at any time. They terminated their contract with my parents after only a month and gave us only a 3 1/2 day notice. Their caregivers were unable to deal with my father's Alzheimer's related behaviors although they had bragged about their expertise in dealing with persons with Alzheimers. In addition, although they terminated the contract over 40 days ago, my parents have stilled not been refunded their 2-week deposit.

I have enjoyed working with Home Instead Senior Care in Lima, Ohio. I was given a chance to prove myself as a care giver and absolutely love it. Meeting multiple people with each individual needing assistance at home. This could include running errands with them, or just daily cleaning of the home.
