Tell you what, I love getting sent to the back of the store to get a lumber ticket for 4 pieces of wood. Seriously their system is irritating.Set a standard that a customer has to have the item number or sku or whatever in order to do a lumber order. Also the order must be less than 5 pieces or 10 pieces. I was just irritated that I had literally all the information they needed and they had the capability of making a ticket but they sent me to the back of the store. Of course I get back there and there’s 3 store attendants there and two are answering dumb questions from the wife and the other is diligently working on store tasks. Which I have no problem with that because those customers are out of your control and well, you can’t blame someone for doing their job at work and staying busy, hell I commend the guy for that. Again walking to the back of the store is irritating and time consuming when I’m trying to make a quick trip in and out. I did my part by having all the information ready for you, why can’t customer service do their job by putting the ticket together and charging me for the materials so I can get out of there quickly.

Wasn't ever all that great of a store or customer service. I would rather go to TSC or Ace or even Lowes frankly. The customer service is hardly applaudable. Got a steel mailbox to replace the old one 2 days ago. Yesterday got a steel mounting bracket for the new box, thinking it should work. I get the box and materials out and work on putting it up together, being as tom we have mail again. But, of course, the materials i.e. the screws to mounting the bracket to the wood post already there wouldn't go in all the way (junk). Then, even as those wouldn't work right, trying to mount the box onto the bracket, and the instructions (yes I read them) are faulty and confusing. The first 3 steps are simple to follow, but then on the back it gives you step 4 which includes THREE types of boxes And TWO different ways to mount the bracket to the box. Both are in step 4 apparently. So I try both ways because that's what they show to do, it looks like. But of course, if you do the first picture you can't do the second, and vice versa. If the holes match up for mounting it on the outside, they Won't match up for inside, and vice versa. How confusing. So I tried calling the store where I got all the materials, takes a minute for someone at the front to answer and send me to someone to help with mailboxes, and I wait another 3-4 minutes for someone to answer. But nope. Terrible customer service. THIS is a perfect example Why I hardly go here anymore. Not even sure if y'all deserve even 2 stars. Thanks a lot.

July 31-2023! Which is last night around 8pm! When i see the sign of anti freeze for $1.90 then it’s gonna be $1.67 after rebates! So went to get 4 of them! But! When i check out they came out $3.29 each! So i told the cashier that have a sign in the bottom of the skid say $1.90 then $1.67 after rebates! She called this Lady about it & she just got smart at me in a rude way! Soo it’s kinda Make me ? ! So i told her come with me & show the sign! Well she took the sign off. & kinda rude smart! Did you see this it’s a wrong sign! How do i know that? Do i have to lay down my knee to read that? I said well I’m not buying it! She kinda smart again & said you have to turn around & get your money on the other side! She could been apologizing for the mistakes or because I’m not a WHITE People that’s why she talks to me that way! That’s what wrong with America right now! Racism!

Worst customer service experience ever.Went to get shingles for my in-laws, already knew the sku number went to the cashier to pay since I already knew the number, was told I have to go back to building to get a pick ticket instead. I do so which is fine. Ask them so "I pull around and you'll load it for me ?" No the young man said you just pick it off the "shingle wall". Just drive around back.... um ok how do I get there? No direction. Don't tell me what location or anything. Get to the "shingle wall" where there is not 1 person to help choose from the million shingles. Finally found it. Have to load all these shingles ALONE. Not one person checks on me or asks for assistance. 0/5 stars. I'll stick with ACE where they have great customer service.

A great store for items around the house. Lumber, garage doors, garage door openers, work gloves, patio furniture, patio accessories, a large selection of doors, car batteries, marine batteries, and a bunch of other stuff. Very friendly staff, and a very clean store.

Menards is a terrible and unprofessional organization, I came to get 80 bags of mulch and only grab 22 ones bag at first and when I came back to pick more. They told me I have already came back to pick up the rest which isn’t true. If your small business I wouldn’t recommend Menards to be your supplier, go with lowe’s or tractor supply.

I'm taking everything I've said about Menards , I order siding from them on the 8th of March and my arrival date was the 23rd then it got pushed to the 31st, now they are saying the 5th of April!!! And now they won't let me cancell the without a restocking fee!! So they think it's okay to leave someone house to this weather we been having, ILL NEVER SHOP THERE AGAIN.....HELLO LOWE'S!!!!!

Matt at the Lima Menards was absolutely fantastic!!! He dropped everything he was doing to come and help my husband and I. When he realized the Lima inventory was out of what we needed, he helped us order everything online and we just could not be more thankful! Thank you, Matt!

Staff are courteous, willing to help, but although everything is sorted; it would be more helpful if the plumbing tools were in the plumbing section and so on... Instead of all the tools being grouped together... That way whatever project the major tools needed are at hand..

I purchased a countertop and the employee, put in the wrong number of where to cut the sink hole, I also purchased all of my cupboards at the exact same time and my husband kept telling her 42 inches is the center she put in 45 inches and they said because I did not buy a template which is an additional $31.48 that I had to pay a restocking charge. And re-purchase another countertop of which they really don’t have any trained people,

People inside were cery nice. They need more lighting in the parking lot, its very dark. If I was not with my husband I would not have stopped.
