It was great! Simple checkin process, everyone was very friendly. I have three small dogs which can be a handful all the staff was extremely patient and kind. We were in and out in less than 20 min. I would definitely recommend.

Absolutely the worse Petco we have ever been to. The GM is horribly rude, no empathy for small animals whatsoever, and has trained her employees to be just as rude. If you want to go to a decent place in Lima for Pets my personal opinion is to never go here. I've even had to have the DM contacted through Petco online. Going to do it again on Monday but I will NEVER shop here again. In my opinion, they should close this place down and turn it into a bolier room, away from the general public. All I did, each time I called, was to try to let them know that my husband would be in on Monday for a refund of defective products. I tried to tell them that over the phone, but each time I said anything, they started interrupting me and never let me finish. When I pointed that out to them, they got mad and hung up on me. That's what they do here. If they don't like your question, or don't agree with what you say, they hang up on you. Bad enough they sold up defective products for our hamsters, they follow that up with rude, inappropriate phone behavior. I am so done with this store location. This location is in Lima, Ohio, on Allentown Road.

My dog just finished his level 1 class and we’ve seen such an improvement in him, we can’t wait for the level 2 class. Ali is an amazing trainer, I would totally recommend her to anyone. Never had a bad experience at this store, all of the employees are so friendly.

I thought ordering online to pick up would be alot more helpful and smoother ... defiantly not here! Switching back to pet supply plus! Atleast there they help you get your product in the car!! Spent $200 on a cage and they pushed it from behind the counter and didn't offer a lick of help to load it!!!

If we can’t price match from other retail stores, then why have price matching in the first place? You might as well stop price matching if we can’t price match from other retailers. I was told they will only price match from their online Store “Petco!” What’s the point. Prices are the same online and in store. Unless you find something that is on Clarence. Disappointed.

I have had multiple reptiles pass away that I have bought here. Every time I come here. The same person, a woman staff member, is rude to me and my party. Completely disrespectful and implied that I was an abusive pet owner. I would only come here if I absolutely needed to.

I took my 8 month old zuchon in for an Asian cut on Friday. I specifically told Angie the groomer what I wanted and didn't want. The body on my pup was the only part of her body that was supposed to be shaved. I came back 3 hours later and my pup was completely shaved. WTF!!! Angie took it upon herself to make a decision for me without my consent. She claimed my pup was matted.. b******** I comb my pup with a flee comb every other day but because I didn't bring her back in 3 months Angie called herself teaching me a lesson. Really!! Who are you to tell me when to groom my pup. I have 3 dogs that I take there. I will NEVER take any of my dogs there again. Shame on the groomer.

Did return the MANAGER did it and she was giving me to much money back tried telling her this what I paid after the rewards her calculator saying 18.51 tried telling her look at receipt 17.41 so gave her the difference back she has attitude about it should kept it not been so honest didn’t even say thank you

I came to Petco to get we horn worms for my bearded dragon... $10 for dead and destroyed horn worms .... definitely not happy.

I usually enjoy coming here but today not so much. I went in to pick up some canned dog food and noticed that the same product was MUCH cheaper on their website. Upon asking to price match two of the workers seemed uncomfortable and continued to mention how they would be taking a loss if they were to match their own price! After they conversed with one another they tried to get me to buy a different type of food. I told them specifically that I wanted what I came into get. They would not stop trying to convince me otherwise. I believe the store had two cases of the food I wanted which is originally what I was going to get but the girl told me they only had one. She sold it to me at the matched price which I appreciated. As I was checking out one of the ladies from earlier seemed to try and offer me some type of advice to me about switching food due to my dogs "condition." She then tried to "diagnose" my dog and further push another food option. I became quite irritable and informed her once more that I would be staying on this food and that I do work at a vets office and and am quite knowledgeable about the field. I also mentioned that I had already spoken to my vet about my pet's current situation. I didn't appreciate how hesitant they were to price match, how they pushed to get me to purchase something else and I definitely feel disrespected when someone tries to negate what my veterinarian has said.

I always take my dog here! They have the best selection of dog collars and toys! Sometimes its on the expensive side, but they have a rewards program so it can balance the cost! They also put animals in the store from shelters for adoption! They are helping a great cause!
