“Our cat had complications Wedneaday afternoon while birthing her kittens and we called around everywhere we could. Every single vet in the area (except for Shawnee Veterinary Hospital) was short with us, couldn't help us and told us to either try to help her ourselves or we would just have to wait for the emergency vet to open. We waited 4.5 hours but the vet that had to give our cat an emergency c section and hysterectomy was so caring and explained the process to us well, the staff was quick, patient and understanding. They were upfront and professional about procedures and cost. I am so grateful for them for saving our cat and trying their best to save her last baby!!”

“Heidt is an amazing veterinary center. They treat our animals like their very own, and they are always thorough and careful. All of our pets actually don’t mind going there! We recently lost our 21-year-old cat, Dash, whom they had treated since he was a kitten. The staff was incredibly compassionate and kind during that time.Our 2-year-old, energetic Golden Retriever/Staffordshire Terrier mix, Honey Bun, absolutely loves coming to the vet. She gets so excited! In fact, she enjoys it so much that we have Heidt trim her nails once a month. They have never hurt her paws or made them bleed, which is saying a lot when dealing with a highly energetic dog. I encourage anyone who has pets to bring them to Heidt. Their prices are comparable to everywhere else, but their service is second to none.”
