I remember before the new owner took it over you could get a scope bore sighted they won’t even bore sight a scope even when you buy one from them very unprofessional no t like before staff is very rude and uneducated about anything to do with the outdoors

On a last decision to do some catfishing this place has the bait that I needed I also bought a rod and reel from there and it was a good price just wish they were opened alittle longer.

I went to buy several ice fishing rods for my first ice fishing experience. The 2 gentlemen that waited on me were very helpful and fixed me up with 3 rods and later in the day we stopped back for some minnows. Nice place.

Used Downs Bait & Guns to pick up a suppressor through Silencershop.com. The experience was great. Very nice and knowledgeable staff. The phone support for certification was awesome. Then I arrived for pickup and found a gem of a place for both fishing and tactical supplies. Looked like the shop had alot of history. Very pleased. Kudos to Downs Bait & Guns. A+

Great store. I'm from out of town and have now visited them twice. Both times I've been here they have been very helpful in finding the proper fish poles for my son and I. Very friendly employees that are very knowledgeable on everything in their store. Will probably be back again next year for more fishing upgrages.
