I worked there for 3 years and the fact that I was loyal and showed up to every job on time didn't make a bit of difference to that company.... they have shady field managers that will cut your throat at a drop of a dime just so they can make money.... there corporate office is well let's say unprofessional..... I am still waiting on company shirts which I was promised 2 years ago ? ? ? ?..... but was told to hang in there as they was shipped and was on the way ? ? but 1 thing they will never say is that I was ever absent from a assignment...... its just a company that needs revamped and it could be awesome but no where near that at all....

I have had a business for over 10 years. I took on this venture to allow my business to stop paying myself so I could employee another crew. My review will not be based on opinion but facts. I'm sure management is doing the best they are capable of doing. First, the money they say your capable of making is true if the stars, moon, wheelbarrow, grill and tractor all line up that way. They say you can make up to 30 an hour and then they say if you get fast. Well, I got fast but noticed they have you doing what they need done. For example its all grills some days. To get to 30$ an hour you have to do strategic things like two grills and a wheelbarrow in that hour. But your at the mercy as to what Lowes wants built. Secondly, there is no training for you. It is almost as if they want you there just as a body so Lowes doesn't get upset they don't have anyone working. I seen the district manager one time and the only time while being there in over a month. During a visit his crew (because he travels to what stores he wants with one or two other guys) assembled all the items that really make me have a good money day. For example he did the tractors and wheelbarrows that you can do fast and have a good money day. I spoke with the assemblers at other locations and this was the norm. Granted the other assemblers like myself had only been there anywhere from 3 days to 3 weeks, lol. Hickman turn over rate of employees is out the roof!!!! Sadly, they believe its because of the quality of applicants. Anyhow, Travel pay...Lies.You get 50% piece rate,, 55%,,only for district manager,,,so that was a lie. No one ever discussed benefits. Lies. One pro is I'm sure they hire Felons.. Good day everyone

Worked with them almost 2 yrs and got slow and got proof they told me cant use u bbn if where slow then put in my unemployment paper I quit in which I didnt and sent proof to the unemployment that what they said and they will be put out on blast bout this and how dirty they are. Went on rd for them none Stop to catch them up and time away from my family. This the way they do people. Not me cause Better Buisness Bureau is getting involved now hickman assembly just do right and let me get what I paid in on my taxes.

Just want to say that this company is a complete scam. They are refusing to pay my boyfriend over 300 dollars of hard earned cash... The "managers" do not know how to train their employees and vape in the stores.very unprofessional. Have fun dealing with small claims court cause we all know that nobody has the time or energy for that! Either pay my boyfriend his cash that he worked for or we will be getting every piece of paperwork from you guys and saving all the texts from the manager clearly stating that he will not be paid. This is ludicrous. You guys wonder why you have no one staying at the job, well you shouldn't wonder... It's the way you treat your employees. Everyone is just trying to work and make ends meet and you guys are just going to jip my boyfriend of all that hard work. Disgraceful. Absolutely unacceptable and further action will be taking place.

Applied for a part time position as an assembly technician for Home Depot in Lafayette, IN. District Manager was nearly a half hour late to train me on my first day. I left while still waiting on her to show up. Very poor image for the company if it's not worth the District Manager's time to show up to an emplyees first day for training.
