We loved our lunch, allowed us to change a few items on our quesadilla. And the fries hot and tasty. We love our waiter, Nate. He was kind and very helpful. We prayed he will do well in college.

Not sure why this place doesn't get better reviews. Relaxing atmosphere. The food was good and the staff was friendly. Nice view no matter where you sit. We will be back.

Enjoyed the Borscht soup, pesto bread no cheese and Three Sisters! All was so delicious! Staff was friendly. Our waitress Laikym was the best! Please give her a raise! Will be back!

This is about as good as American breakfast gets. The price was fair and the food was all incredible. Biscuits are unique, and the home fries were perfect.

The restaurant is very clean and has decent decore. Most of the year, you would be trying to get a table out on the porch. There you would have a great view. There are tables inside that are near the windows that look out through the porch area. I do not suggest the strip steak. It was broiled and didn't have seasoning on it. Definitely not worth the hefty price tag. But that was the only thing that I didn't like. Everything else we had was good. The drinks from the bar are very well made. Every drink we had was bursting with flavor. And the bar is right around on the other side of the wall from the restaurant.Wheelchair accessibility: It is definitely not great for accessibility, but you can get in. They may have to ask people to scoot in, or even move, but they will get you in. If you are making reservations, you need to ask for the first table in the door.

I know that it is closed down but to the people who ran the old lodge.....the locals really miss the old lodge, the old atmosphere, the old restaurant and mostly the old pool that we were welcomed at. It was a piece of our community that will forever be missed and nostalgic

Our family of 3 booked the Lodge for a weekend stay in August and it was just OK. I do NOT think the Lodge is worth the money especially since during our stay it was so crowded. Leading up to our stay, I missed a call from the Lodge and when I called back no one knew why I had missed a call. The next day, I get a call stating that there was something wrong with our reservation and our room had to be changed from it's original booking. OK. When we got to the Lodge on Friday there were no problems, but Saturday... it was totally different. There was a wedding booked so the Lodge was overcrowded. We could barely find a parking space when we came back from hiking. The pool was overcrowded and had to exceed capacity. See pics. The restaurant and bar were overcrowded and you really couldn't use many of the amenities due to overcrowding. The cabins are permitted to use the Lodge but there is no regulation checking people coming or going so it honestly feels like if you have pulse, you can come into the Lodge and use all of the amenities and the facilities. I would not stay at the Lodge again.

*Now known as ROCK HOUSE RESTAURANT*This is the sit-down restaurant at the Lodge. This is a nice location, restaurant and bar look high-end but that's where it stops! They are probably short staffed but the food was over done, dried out and too salty. It was VERY disappointing for the cost!

The lodge is very lovely and newly remodeled (in the last year I believe). We had a hike to the nearby Whispering Falls Cave which is just a short hike from the lodge on the path that runs behind the lodge. If you go out of the lodge by the bottom floor doors, go down the steps and take a left, you'll be on the trail. There's an indoor and outdoor pool and hot tub. We had the indoor hot tub all to ourselves on a weekday night in May. There is a gift shop where you can find souvenirs, maps, and items that you may need like s'mores kits and sweatshirts. And there is a little spot to grab some quick, ready-made trail type foods as well as across from the check in desk. There are various games in places around the lodge and out by the fireplaces outside. The fireplaces are lit at night and you can sit around them with other guests. You can sit in the rocking chairs out front or on the balcony. There's an indoor seating area in the lobby as well. The restaurant (Rock House Restaurant) is by reservation only in the evening, but they do takeout orders, if the restaurant is full. The food was delicious. We had dinner and breakfast the next day, too) Left a review for the food on the restaurant page you can check out.

We spent two nights at the Lodge while visiting Hocking Hills State Park. This facility is located in the park and just opened last fall. It is beautiful inside and out. It has lovely grounds and various overlooks to view beautiful scenery, two pools, two hot tubs, a variety of games and activities inside and out. The room was well equipped with comfortable beds, a fridge and microwave, a nice sized bathroom and good toiletries. There is a full service restaurant, a little pub a gift shop and coffee shop/convenience store on the premises. Everything about this place is top notch. Getting to the places in the park to hike is easy and that helps because the roads really wind around the park. All in all I highly recommend this property.

The service and atmosphere were great. Kids got the chicken tenders and didn't eat more than 2 bites so I tried it, terrible. Also, the food is pricy so we decided to drive to Logan for all of my other meals.

Burgers and drinks were good. We came for lunch on the 4th hoping to be seated on the patio with a scenic beautiful view. It was disappointing to be told by the host that the servers were not wanting to be seated out there. Meanwhile they were all gathered standing around at the host station.

The lodge was beautiful and peaceful. We had a room on the lower level with bunk beds. Close proximity to the hiking trails. We drove to them but we saw some people walking. We had breakfast at the restaurant one morning. It was just okay for the price. They have a ping pong table ($.50 / per ball), disc golf, swimming pools and hot tubs for your enjoyment. We didn't actually eat dinner at the restaurant but we did order pizzas twice from the cafe and ate it in the sitting area. Family enjoyed it! Rooms were clean. Location is great! We were very impressed with Hocking Hills state park. Other activities - my son and husband rented clubs and played golf at the Hocking Hills golf club.

We headed down to the Lodge for lunch yesterday 6-9-23. First time trying it since it was rebuilt. Made a lunch reservation for 1130. We showed about 1115 and were promptly seated. That's where the service ended. Waited forever for are server to show up. And when she showed she was sporting the lastest in pride gear. Which myself nor my wife appreciated. Express yourself on your own time. We both had burgers. She ordered hers well done while I requested mine medium rare. Both came out hard ,cooked the same and dense. Think hockey puck. The menu said beef was supplied by a local market. Both burgers had no seasoning and tasted like gut. This happens when meat is cross contaminated in a butcher shop. My wife took one bite of hers and said nope, can't do it. The burgers where not worth the 14.50 for the "forager" and 13.50 for the classic or whatever it was called. We also ordered potato skins as a appetizer. The flavor was good but the centers were cold and tasted like they have been in the fridge overnight. Overall it was a great view with terrible sub par food. I expected a lot better. At $60 for lunch for two I will not be back. We left and went to Dairy Queen.
