It turned out to me a moonroof problem! The rattle was soo bad that I was threatening to trade off the vehicle (as it was driving me crazy). He made the adjustment to the roof panel - problem solved! “Talk about your happy endings. My alternator died just outside London, Ohio. A local recommended Joe Joe's, so I called at 4:30PM on a Thursday. The gentleman who answered referred me to a trusted tow service and advised he would stay around the shop if I could get the car towed there. I called him back when the wrecker was en route and he told me that if he couldn't get a replacement part he would make sure I had a ride to a local hotel since there is effectively no taxi or uber service in the vicinity. One of his family members picked up the part to expedite the process and before 7PM I was back on the road. Very reasonable price for parts and labor, and the entire process was as positive and helpful as one could ever find.Mechanic told me that since I was stuck on the road trying to get home he wanted to be available to help, and so he stayed into the evening, arranged the parts delivery, and got me back on the road before dark. This is a level of service and sincere concern that almost doesn't exist in business anymore, and I was very pleasantly surprised with how well I was treated from start to finish. My experience with Joe Joe's is that they are great people who go above and beyond to help their customers, and I was a complete stranger from out of state calling late on a Thursday.Support this business! “My daughter is driving across the country in a 10-year-old Jeep towing a U-Haul. She called me from near London, OH this morning, having just gotten off the Interstate because the "Check engine" light had come on.Unfortunately, it had occurred to neither of us that she ought to have a device to plug into the ECU connector to read fault codes. From my home near Boston, I did some searching for auto repair shops in London. I found Gunter's and called. They were very willing to help and I got my daughter in touch with them to provide her location.They arrived when they said they would, checked the code ("stuck manifold flap"), and told her that while it should be repaired, she could continue her trip to Montpelier, VT if she didn't push too hard. This is advice has been correct so far, as she has made a few hundred miles progress since.I am very grateful to Page and Gunter for their help *and* their honesty. My daughter was in a vulnerable spot and they could have sold her a bill of goods, which they did not.”

“My wife and I have been using Coughlin Chevy of London, for many years, for all our car needs. We’ve purchased used vehicles and new vehicles from them, and have all of our automotive services done there. We were looking to buy a new Trail Blazer last week, so we called our friend and salesman, Mike Keener, and told him our situation. We took our 2014 Chevy Silverado in for an oil change, which didn’t happen because it was put on hold, while we were lookin to maybe make a deal on a 2024 Trail Blazer. It turned out, that we traded both our Silverado and 2015 Trax, for a 2025 Trax. Yes. I know what you’re thinking. We wanted a Trail Blazer. Mike worked very hard to find the color with all the accessories, my wife wanted, but couldn’t find one, at many other dealerships. He called us the next morning and said they were unloading a new truckload of new 2025 Trax, as we spoke, and we should check them out. At the end of the day, we ended up trading both our vehicles for the Trax, saved money we weren’t expecting, and went home in a new car and very happy customers.
