The Ariel Broadway Hotel is a wonderful and clean hotel with great staff who are accommodating, helpful, kind, friendly, professional, and understanding. The rooms are nice, clean, spacious, comfortable, and taken care of, with good WiFi and pretty views of the lake. The hotel features cute shops within it. The downstairs restaurant, The Gilmore, is a gem and an upscale anchor, serving superb and delicious food, though some extra charges for items like coffee or beignets have been noted. The bar downstairs offers finger and fried foods with a fun staff, and there is a dope bar and games area. A rooftop bar operates on Friday and Saturday nights when weather permits. The location is a quick walk to Lake Erie, a marina, the lighthouse, and nearby activities like Rockin’ on the River behind the building. Some guests have mentioned minor issues, such as the basement parking garage not having building access when the restaurant is closed, an HVAC system in rooms that guests cannot control themselves, and occasional extra fees for special events. Overall, stays are described as amazing and enjoyable, making it a considered sneak-away hotel.
The only recommendation I have for the place is that their basement level parking garage does not have access to the building when the downstairs restaurant is closed. Other than that, so far the staff has been great. The rooms are nice and clean. Everything has been great.
