The guys at my Firestone on Leavitt Road in Lorain are the best. They treat me with respect & don't try to "mansplain" things to me. They don't speak to me as if I am stupid. They are honest & up front. They don't ever pressure me to get services that are not an immediate issue.

Used to go to Firestone for maintenance at another location, but it was a bit farther and left for competitor. This location opened up recently and decided to give it a try. Glad I did, great job, good communication and quick turn around. Will be back!

Gene I think that's how you spell it. Is an absolute awesome employee here. Even through the chaos of answering phones and customers non stop. He helped me with an issue on my vehicle. Got it done in a timely manner. And helped me with getting the cost exactly where I needed to be. You guys lose him I'll never come back. Thanks for hanging out with me all morning Gene!

Everyone was great! Gene was very focused on solving my problem and providing me any information I requested. He kept me informed of the progress and was conscientious about my time and the troubleshooting costs to resolve my problem. In the end, the repair was a success within a reasonable time frame and without excessive costs. Thank you for providing a level of service that is rarely found in today’s world!!! I will be back for future services. Thank you Gene for everything!!

This place has absolutely amazing guys working here. I took my car in on labor day because prior shop worked on my front brakes after year caliper bolt was gone. I dont drive car as often so I didnt realize it earlier . Josh was amazing at getting me in and taking care of issue at very reasonable price. He had my car checked over and let me know of things that could be worked on in future. He balanced n rotated tires next day because caliper being loose threw it off balance and I didnt realize till I got at higher speed. Very happy to find honest good caring mechanics. That's not easy these days. I will definitely go back to have my vehicles worked on there. Great experience!!??

Josh went above and beyond to help me make sure I was driving a safe and reliable car. In my inspection details he even took the time to explain issues, provide pictures, and let me know what maintenance that was listed as essential/necessary from the Avon Firestone was legitimate and what was not in order to send me back on the road and ensure my safety for a reasonable price.

2021 RAM 2500 owner with factory installed Firestone Transforce A/T tires here. I called F.S. headquarters to complain about my tread ware and only having 21,000 miles. I found out there was a recall on tires and was told to contact the dealer i purchased the truck from. Of course the dealer said recall? What recall. I contacted this F.S., the manager looked it up and agreed there was a recall. Made an appointment and they installed 4 new tires at no cost to me. Quick and easy. This is the 2nd F.
S. in this county Ive delt with, the other in Elyria. Both have done me solid when they could've kept quiet and taken advantage of me. I wish F.S. could give lessons to other companies on their hiring practices and how to maintain good employees. I reccomend both shops with 5 ?

These people were absolutely incredible. We were on a very long road trip and had a tire shred on the highway at 6 pm and called them. They didn’t have the tire we needed in stock, so Dylan drove to ANOTHER TOWN to get us the tire we needed so we could be on the road as quickly as possible. They were almost closing for the night but they made sure we were safe and able to finish our drive to Pittsburgh. Truly everyone we spoke to was incredibly nice and thoughtful, the manager was also a rockstar!

These guys really saved my skin and I can't thank them enough!
I was driving with my 10 year old niece from Cedar Point in Sandusky, OH back home just outside of Philly when the alternator went on my car. It was a Sunday and these guys were the only shop in town open. I pulled into the shop on a wing and a prayer that they would be able to get me back on the road that day as I really couldn't afford to get a hotel room and miss work on Monday (or longer). Thankfully, the shop was able to do me a solid and get the part I needed on a Sunday and install it before close.
The gentleman who I spoke with, Josh, was very polite, informative and understanding of my situation. The cost to replace the alternator was about what I expected for my vehicle. They seem honest, fair, hardworking and kind, a perfect repair shop.

I have not been to this particular Firestone, but I do know and have dealt with the store manager Josh in the past. I would highly recommend going to this store because of Josh. He goes above and beyond for his customers, I know this from previous experience at his previous store.

We called at 4 on a Sunday because my daughter got a flat on the turnpike. They got us in and got 4 new tires on pretty quickly. Much Appreciated!
