My son purchased his first car and went there for tires shortly after the car was making a noise and they told him that he needed a flex pipe and welded one on. Later the car need a belt that I paid for him and a day later the belt shredded. They replaced the belt for free because it had a warranty and then weeks later it shredded again and it was because they needed to replace the tensioner and the car place knew this and still just threw another belt on the car causing him unnecessary time and money for towing if they would have done the proper job to start with. Then my son wanted to get the noise checked out that came around after getting his tires from this place and I told him to take it somewhere else if he wanted me to help pay for it. He took the car to Tuffy and they found a crappy weld job done on a flex pipe and the catalytic converter was missing. There is a paper trail for the car from the echeck that PASSED to the tires to the noise to the 28th auto shop saying that it needed flex pipe and welding the pipe and not notifying anyone of the missing converter to the shredded belts because they chose not to say anything about the tensioner which was the real problem and causing unnecessary time and money on towing to take the car back to them to find out why the belts were shredding. So after the e-check that passed and tires from 28th street auto a noise came about and then my son went back to them and they said he needed a flex pipe according to them but he actually was missing his catalytic converter which is where the noise was coming from but for some reason 28th street auto failed to tell him that instead did a crap weld job with flex pipe to cover the noise which did not work and that is why the car was taken to another shop. So if you don't want your car parts traded out or misdiagnosed or car only half fixed you may want to go somewhere else.

Took my car to get tires. Drove to Toledo, my center cap was missing along with two lug nuts. Had my new born in the car. Long story short. Bought lug nuts to replace but the two screws were stripped. Nice job to Freddy’s. They are a rip off
