I applied for a loan online yesterday, and after a hard pull of my credit report, I received absolutely zero communication from the credit union. Today after still not hearing one word from them, not an email, a phone call, anything, I checked the status of my loan application and it was denied- which is fine- but no explanation. No communication whatsoever.Very professional.

Bonnie was friendly and helpful, answering all my questions without unnecessarily taking up my time. It was my first time working with a credit union, and I was fully satisfied with my experience of becoming a member and opening my checking account.

Sent emails telling us to call, would never answer when we called. Finally we received an email saying basically "can't help you sorry". Took our business elsewhere and had ZERO issues whatsoever. Won't recommend GenFed to ANYONE.
