Site 11 in Campground 1 is like parking in a Walmart parking lot except there it's actually free! This is my first time ever staying in Mohican State Park campground and wish I had never stopped as this particular campsite is a dirt pit with an awesome view of the camper in front of me! I realize this park is gorgeous but the view from my RV is just like a Walmart parking lot! I wouldn't waste your money on these sites in the front of the park! The sites along the river are the only ones that are worth it. I canceled the remainder of my stay and only stayed for the one night that they would not refund. And when I did ask for a refund they demanded on sending me a check for my refund.. never in my life has that happened! It's always the money going back on your credit card which is exactly what should have happened here! I will never see this check because of fraud in a postal system therefore it's like throwing money down a toilet. What kind of Mickey Mouse operation is this?

An awesome place to hike, bike, mountain bike, canoe, camp, or just exist.
New nature center (opened 8/25), at the picnic grounds is very well done. Lots of interactive activities for kids and a large lounge with gas fireplace

Love this place for the river but giving a 4 because cut backs have caused the pool hours to be reduced and the WiFi offered can't keep up because the coverage and phone signals around here are trash. You can't count on it if you need it for work. Hot water takes a while to warm up so if you dont turn it on before you start to undress you'll likely be frozen by the time it gets warm. Lights are in a timer so if you shower at night you will get stuck in complete darkness. I do not recommend going in shower at night. Staff are very nice folks and always helpful when needed.

We've been camping at Mohican State Park for decades. Love the facilities, the Clear Fork River, the hiking. Oh, and the I've cream at the camp store!

Beautiful Park, neat little towns in the area, great hiking trails but the directions are not very good on how to get to the campground. I'll just send you some pictures

I recently stayed here with my girlfriend. The campsite was initially hard to find because Google Maps took us directly to the actual Park, but the receptionist, Tammy, was able to guide us directly to the campsite. When we arrived, we were greeted so enthusiastically that I felt like we were family. Even though it was raining when we arrived, by the next morning it had stopped and we were able to go on the north rim trail, which was challenging but very fun. Everyone we talked to on the staff was so very friendly and they made sure to answer all of our questions and went above and beyond. I highly recommend this Campground even if only for the amount of friendly staff. Throughout my entire stay I did not experience a single setback and I'm excited to come back someday.

Beautiful as always, the trails are lovely and the North Rim trail offers some gorgeous views across the park.

My family stayed here in 2024 for the solar eclipse. The pull through camp sites are great. I definitely like how they're laid out better than most pull through sites since they're parallel to the road. Oh, and the kids loved having WiFi, even if they didn't really need to use it much because they kept themselves busy walking the trails. We loved staying here and can't wait to visit again sometime

As always, fall camping at Mohican State Park Campground was a great experience. Seem to always meet someone w/ an amazing camping story and willing to help if you have an issue getting backed into space or something else comes up. If you are solo camping, you will find someone that will welcome you to join them at their firepit.
