I took my puppy to Loveland Regional when I first adopted him for his wellness care. Then on the December 6th he started to cough so we visited on the 11th. Before arrival I was not informed the appointment was going to outside in 30 degree weather. I was told the cough was likely due to him eating something that then gave him a sore throat and sent home with anti inflammatory and cough suppressant medications. I was informed at the visit I would receive a follow up call 48 hours later to check in on him and if his symptoms had not fully cleared up to schedule another appointment. I did receive that call 48 hours later and informed the vet tech that he seemed better but was still coughing. I was then told to wait until his medication ended and then if he still had symptoms to bring him back in. This was contradictory to what was told to to me at the original visit. Then the morning after his medications were finished he began to decline. I ended up spending over $8,000 at the emergency vet because Loveland Regional misdiagnosed him. He in fact had kennel cough (Bordetella) a very common illness in dogs thats primary symptom is a cough. This illness is also known to be more dangerous for puppies due to their weakened immune system and can be much more serious. His condition worsened and progressed into pneumonia then sepsis and then I sadly lost my beloved pet. Had I been given a proper exam, correct medications, or if staff had proper training I would not be in this situation. The only thing Loveland Regional has done to remedy this situation is to inform me they will be doing more training with staff regarding follow up calls.
I would never recommend this vet to anyone and will be warnings others of this experience.

We had been given a 120 dollar estimate to have our cats taken in for a physical, when they returned our cats they charged 340 in additional services that we had not agreed to then refused to offer more then a discount on our next visit for the egregious nonconsensual upsell

They are always so caring and thoughtful and take time to get to know you and your pets and make sure they take every step of care possibly needed! Recommend for the staff!
Only down side: the increased prices

Called around a couple months ago for euthanasia information for my elderly kitty. Warren County Animal Shelter, where I got her 17 years ago, said they now require a vet exam first. Most places I called seemed more concerned about the exam than the need to help my kitty pass without more pain. Loveland Regional Animal Hospital offered end of life services on their web site, so I called and finally made the appointment for today. The female vet did an exam and said she would be back with options. She returned and tried to talk me out of euthanasia that I made the appointment for and was mentally prepared for. She offered medical treatment options, but left the decision up to me. I have had a few cats over the years who lived a long life. I know when they are in pain or lacking a quality of life. She gave an initial sedative that put my kitty into a deep sleep and left us alone for a final goodbye. I could hear some staff laughing outside the room as I was grieving. She returned for the final lethal injection. I told her she made me feel guilty by her previous actions. I now wish I had used a home euthanasia service recommended by friends. It would have made this difficult day less stressful.

Been coming here for years. Every year there prices go up alot. Done this year just called and there office visit fee went from 45 to 70 dollars per cat. I asked im bringing them both at same time why am I being charged a double office fee. They said it per animal regardless. So I would not walk out of there for less than 200 per cat with shots and what ever else fees they charge. Welcome to the corporate vet owned world. Just fyi this is a multi billion dollar industry and large corporations are buying up all vet clinics. This one is a victim of this.

Highly do NOT recommend. The office was bought out by a chain of veterinarian practices and almost doubled all of the prices. The new vet there assumes she knows everything about anything and will not accept otherwise. I had mentioned that my dog is a purebred Mountain Cur, and Dr Corman told me he was not purebred since they "are not recognized by AKC" even though 1) they are and my boy is even AKC registered and 2) AKC is not the only purebred dog registry in the world, let alone in the USA.I miss Dr Cole and am sad that he retired and his business was taken over by people who do not care about your pets as if they are their own.
