This is my go-to local running store!
I’ve been running ever since high school and have continued my amateur running career into adulthood.
Second Sole Lyndhurst is my destination for everything running because I know that their team will have me ready for my next training block.
If you’re visiting this store as for Dylan! He couldn’t be more helpful and knowledgeable. I wouldn't be a Boston Marathoner without his insight!

They always have all the newest running shoes, plus well-curated accessories. Some of the employees are a little better at fitting shoes than others, but they'll all let you take your time and try on as many as you need to to choose good shoes. Plus they're very knowledgeable about running and have always been happy to talk through whatever training/challenge/injury recovery I'm working on.

I would like to thank Peter at the Lyndhurst location for providing top-notch service and support. Peter’s knowledge was simply amazing. He let me know all the important information regarding the product including its features. Peter was extremely patient in answering my barrage of questions. His technical knowledge instilled supreme confidence in my purchase decision. I will recommend Second Sole to everyone I know. Second Sole has a customer for life!!!!!

I had never been to a running store to talk to someone about what type of tennis shoes would be best for my feet. I walk daily on a treadmill and was getting ready to take a trip that I knew was going to involve a lot of walking. I needed new shoes, so I thought I would try Second Sole. Peter was so incredibly helpful and friendly. He measured my foot, asked me about any concerns I had and we tried a handful of different shoes based on his picks and what I thought of each one. The shoe that we ended up on is so comfortable, was amazing for my trip and has resulted in walks on my treadmill that are free of shin pain for the first time I can remember. I was planning to buy a pair of Hokas simply based on their popularity, but I’m so glad I didn’t, as I learned from talking with Peter that they probably wouldn’t have been the best fit for my foot. I would recommend this Second Sole location to anyone unsure of what shoe is right for them.

I walked into Second Sole a bit helpless, nursing an injury to my foot and led knowing I’d be running a half marathon in a few days.Peter not only recommended the perfect shoes, he took time to listen to my concerns and make a suggestion based on his tenured experience and visual observations of the arches of my feet.I cannot thank him enough as I was able to complete the half marathon in under 2 hours with the New Balances Peter hand selected. He rocks and deserves an extraordinary amount of praise.

Nice place and very professional. Got in and out and found the BEST shoes at the right size that I couldn't find at three other stores! They also do runs from the shope on Wednesdays.. call for jogging/run times!

This is my first time going into this shoe store. When I went in there it was because I have developed a condition called plantar fasciitis. This requires a specific type of Footwear along with special inserts to treat the condition. As soon as I told my salesperson that this was the reason that I had come into the store he immediately knew what to do. He actually measured my foot! It's been years since any shoe store had done that rather than just guess at what size shoe would fit my foot. In addition, he was extremely knowledgeable about my foot condition to the extent that he was able to explain it to me even better than my doctor did. When I was looking to buy these shoes I shopped around in terms of price. To my surprise this store was also the least expensive! I would highly recommend that people check out this store if you're looking for people who actually know what they're talking about if you're going to spend some money on a good pair of shoes.

Not the most incredible selection of sport shoes but the lovely helpful staff and enough choice to find something comfortable & nice looking. I was able to get both little ones fitted without any hassle. Staff knew straight away what I was looking for, with no drama or delay.

I’ve had a hard time finding comfortable tennis shoes for a while. I found Second Sole of Lyndhurst on google and decided to give it a shot. Scott helped me find the most comfortable pair of tennis shoes I think I’ve ever worn. He explained why he picked certain shoes and answered all of my questions. I am so thankful to finally be in some comfy shoes! I’ll definitely go back when it’s time for my next pair. Thanks, Scott!!

Helpful staff and good inventory. Staff knows the difference between sprinter and distance runner spikes where another local running spot didn't.
